i think a few strong vibrations (e.g. fun old axel tramping burnouts) tend to vibrate through the box and shake things out of alignment a little and make things behave a little funny sometimes. I've noticed it before. Returns perfectly to normal after a bit.. RB25det gearboxes are weird beasts.

I have got a single Alpine SWS-1241 in my car... Its the double drive version, which i think kicks a little more. Great for what i want it for, and in conjunction with a powerful monoblock kicks some good bass for a variety of different styles of music. You'd probably want 2 of them like paulR has for even better kick. I think i paid about $160+postage for 1x about 12 months ago (near new). I think they were only about $220 each new 12 months ago though so not sure whether its any bargain or not you're getting

I'd just like to add.. having a look over what this thing can read and display.. An absolute bargain! If you have any desire to work or diagnose any problems on your car and have a basic idea of how your car works, i think it would be invaluable, and easily pay for itself in workshop costs fairly quickly. Seems to do what a lot of what the official Nissan consult device does which is *only* available to registered workshops and costing many thousands of dollars.

Well we have a tentative 10 cars or so already. I'm sure more would come if was organised. Somebody should just ring up a place that they know and book a saturday or sunday or something for 1/2 a day or something.

hey james, did you 040 come with any pickup of anykind?? matts seemed to just be the pump with just a big mesh under the bottom.. wasn't sure how it would suck from the bottom of the tank from just that?? as it would generally sit to high if just in the stock bracket i would have thought on anything less than 1/2 a tank. is there another part that is meant to go on the end?

Paying more that $30 for just a basic 10minute reading is a little rich if you ask me, but then agian i don't have my own dyno :ghost: The allstar one is dynologics, which reads lower - not sure whether it will suit my purpose. Problem is people that don't know shit will go "ba only 16x rwkw, my mates cousins dog gets 210rwkw from his stock turbo r33". Why don't *we* organise a dyno day?? SAU QLD - same dyno.. no arguments!!

mine did this recently at higher revs .. dodgy connection to O2 sensor due to SAFC connection becoming loose. From 4000rpm -> 7000rpm was dead as a donkey.. now its all fixed and screaming. Check/swap both your O2 sensor and AFM. Its more likely to be these. If you have an aftermarket BOV - try swapping in a stocker to check that. You can also have a big boost leak and still reach 13psi - your turbo will just be working a hell of a lot harder to get there (had this problem before also).

do u have the powerFC boost control or a separate one? generally mine i just turn the knob
