while you're on the phone.. ask what is happening with mine ! i'm so in the dark at the moment about mine - i spoke to gavin on tuesday arvo. He said the work had been done but there was a strange backpressure problem in the exhaust (possible a stuffed muffler or cat). He was going to get some of the guys to look at it when they were free.. but since then.. nothing so its still sitting there..

gavin wood is pretty expensive.. as i'm finding out the hard way its already up to about twice what i was hoping for :( i mean he's picking up stuff that probably needs to be done (i hope) which is good.. but still - i can't damn afford to get it all fixed anyhow.

ouch.. but that sounds ok.. although i couldn't imagine it costing heaps more though? any place should be able to do a clutch install though. don't think there is anything too special about the skyline clutches

That i don't like them much based on looks.. and would only buy purely if all I wanted was an outright performance car at the expense of most other things. Just don't like them.. never liked the shape of lancer's, or most of the other mitsu's. Then again i'm sure plenty don't like the skyline shapes. Anyhow, isn't number X already past the "EVO" lancer.. weren't mitsu going to move the EVO name after about IX onto another chasis to be more suited to the current rally regulations - hence the death of the "Lancer EVO" ?? I've read this a few places. Was it just a rumour?
