  1. eug: they're not white, silver..
  2. Johnny B - good to hear a decent account from somebody obviously with a few years driving and different cars I assume under their belt. Not often that we hear much from those in that position, and good to see they stack up well. I'm surprised a little why there are less 30+ drivers out there who have given it a try, but I guess many don't want the stigma attached that goes with driving an import car, even though much is unfounded. To be honest I've never driven a Commodore ever in my life, and hopefully never do but it doesn't sound like I'm really missing much.
  3. how about Most Misunderstood Issue of How the Petrochemical Industry Works Day.. MMIOHTPIWD
  4. no green stripes...u can see em in the photo there
  5. i have rice.. i have stripes too now cyrice.. nur
  6. yes, it was me.. i am continuously stuffed these days.. don't eat right, don't exercise, don't do shit, don't have time.. changes required
  7. man, that jap video is pretty full on.. the japs are crazy crazy
  8. aren't family cars the ones that are generally "oh we can't afford to service it this month, we'll do it next month...gotta pay the school fees this month".. kids spewing and shitting on the seats.. etc
  9. naw, bodykit would stay.. hassle to change. i just want something else.. in the next 6 months at least anyhow, i'm just arguing for the point of arguing.. i'm not sure what the correct answer is
  10. ..and who says stock cars aren't thrashed either? if anything, you know the guy who has modified the car is an enthusiast, who probably has cared about the car and spent more keeping it all running nicely (extra time in the shop, getting regular tunes), more so than the guy who just bought it and just thrashed it to the shops each day.. so when it had done xx,xxx km he could trade it in for something else? Would you buy a company or family car over here? even though of course its going to be in "stock" form?
  11. hhmmm... to me if a car is heavily modified if anything will go wrong it would have under stress already If it brakes under stress, it would have already broke by now..but in unmodified form who knows how it will take to the extra power. On road stress testing ! And you never know whether the "stock" car you bought had 50 mods in japan and exactly the same stuff was done to it over there, then returned to stock either. Plenty would have been.
  12. people like to throw money away obviously.. modifying a car from scratch costs soo much.. i bought mine with a nice selection of mods because i knew modding it from scratch would cost me 2x or 3x the price and i'd never get it back. I've done a few things, but the stuff i got on there i'd never bother changing anyhow really. hence why i may have to consider returning it to stock to sell at a cheap price.. even though to me a stock skyline is yawn territory anyhow, i was asking what james had as stock as this may help my plan.. but he has gone..
  13. oh.. guess that doesn't make sense either i was saying.. when i go to sell my car soon (as that is probably what is happening).. nobody wants to pay about $23k for a nicely modified R33.. they all want to pay as little as possible, and reckon a GTS-T in good condition and pretty well cared for (for the most part) with $10k of mods should only be worth $17k.. ok its not worth $10k more, but it is worth a little more than $17k. I tried to sell it in melbourne last year and the amount of people trying to beat me down to low figures was stupid.. considering the amount of modiifcations on it (ok, true no big turbo, etc but pretty much everything else). pissed me off..
  14. i'm drinking a UDL.. what stock stuff you got James?? if people are gonna be tight ass pricks (and they will), i'll just destroy my car and return it to stock and flog off for $17 or 18k just with kit and no performance items. i was thinking on the way home i could do "swap stock item + cash for my aftermarket item"..
  15. man.. ok.. umart dodgy mechanic day mark #x .. we'll be able to do a heap of stuff in one day.. half the trouble is just getting stuff off/out.. once you know the tricks its easy, easy.. fuel pump took me a week or 2 to find out even how to open the fuel tank after that it was a lot easier
  16. why is an auto tank different shape? but true, i've heard bigger pumps cause bigger issues during installation. 910 was easy as piss.
  17. neil: i helped my mate install a trust kit in melb...he had a aftermarket bar.. took about an hour for most of the work. It had like every little bolt and screw to go in, and was very easy. He had an aftermarket bar which helped as there were no issues there. But can depend on the kit i guess.
  18. nizmo: can we borrow you boyfriend.. ship him over...and we'll express post him back.. we swear
  19. but when u get to do the fuel pump you get to sniff petrol! think of hte benefits ! i felt weird for a few hours after that one
  20. Order #174 (Processing): 1 x Nismo Black Cap Large Logo $36.18 1 x HKS Adjustable Cam Pulley Nissan RB20DE(T) RB25DE(T) RB26DETT Ex $155.08 1 x Nismo Black T-Shirt $27.14 Delivery Time: Who the **** knows!
  21. fuel pump took me 90 mins and i didn't really know what i was doing.. intercooler should be 60min job save the cutting if you have a stock front bar, especially if its a full kit. It should be bolt and go..
  22. i think they must be good sometimes and at others shithouse.. i have a feeling some weeks he's not even in the office.. and there is no direct email to contact them on.. just a yahoo address.. now that is service with a capital S
  23. yeah.. MJ..and he has a HKS cam gear to go on to.. last time i heard from him.. can't sell car with 98,000km on the clock and no service, and not running anywhere near its full potential unless i took a bite in the ass and sold it for a stupid price. i heard greenline was really slow and they had troubles? so i went nengun, now i am waiting on them.. Why am i always the guy that gets screwed over??
  24. i smell a dodgy mechanic day.. MatX also wants a fuel pump installed i am still awaiting my camgear, but who knows when that gets here. Nnengun is useless with answering my queries.. i paid them 2 weeks ago and no confirmation that is has been sent at all, or even what is happening with it
  25. see, even font size not guaranteed to work
