  1. supraman??
  2. i think the 5000rpm "dip" is common to the stock ECU. do you have a S-AFC in there?
  3. r31 are still fun cars to drive in quite a few ways.. even though i have a turbo r33, the r31 that i also own is still good to drive. If anything i like the auto, nice and responsive. The n/a R33 RB25DE only puts out a bit more power than the R31 RB30E anyhow. Both do similar 1/4 mile times (anywhere from 17's to low 15's).
  4. have a 94 r33, one the cleanest r33 you will find, and with very long list of mods.. full 400r look which turns heads. The pic below basically, however the 400r sideskirts will be fitted in a couple of weeks. Will be forsale in a month or so. Asking $23k in QLD but will deliver to NSW if deposit is paid.
  5. manboobs shit i need food asnyhow, thats funny.. now i know where you work i can hassle your garage for silly little mechanical repairs i can't be bothered doing myself
  6. yeah, there was a cop with a radar gun on the m1 as well. Its getting up to the end of June -- revenue raising time before the end of the financial year.. watch out everybody.,. in fact don't drive at all i just work for a web business in a house.. further up where it goes down the hill and turns down. yeah, i hardly have driven the r33 there.. mainly the r31 (white.. non descript really, except has 2 1/4 exhaust and extractors so makes a bit of a wracket)
  7. ooo.. photo shoot.. are their hot blondes involved? please let there be hot blondes involved??
  8. yeah, i hate clocking up km in the r33.. I've had the R31 for about 6 weeks and done about 9,000km :-s thats pretty nuts
  9. i get petrol there too fair bit. do you have exhaust gaskets? and how much you reckon to jack it up on the hoist. I can do it, just a bitch to do it on the ground - would take 5 mins the one around my cat in my r31 is hacked.. its making uber noises after i pulled it off the other week :-s
  10. sweetr33: i know everything nah.. i drive past it every day wednesday and thursdays. Its the only one in the area.. cool, i work about 200m from there. how about those cops up near the school this morning. Two cameras in the space of 50m? the first one i thought fair enough.. then i saw the 2nd like 50m later and i was WTF?!! but luckily i was going 40 as i am paranoid
  11. its not the one off alexander drv is it??
  12. bummer.. how long are you likely to lose you license for?
  13. well u are 18.. they will ream you
  14. have you been paid to recommend his workship? hmmm
  15. Well i'll just be honest, even if my opinion doesn't mean shit Z'eds are crap i reckon.. might go hard in TT, but bitch to work on and ugly as shit.. its only really a 2 seater two so no rear seats even if you just want to put stuff on them. Look like some 80's ferrari gone wrong. you seen the inside of the engine bay there? you can't even reach the oil filter .. $expensive service costs.. hence probably why he just paid $1500 for a major service when in most other nissans it would be around $800. $11k is a good price though.. but if u want something cheaper there are many more practical options if you ask me. Get an R32 or something.
  16. not this crap again
  17. exams.. pft!
  18. nex: ok, cool i'll bring them in thursday.. sooner i get the cash for those ones the quicker i can get my new ones fitted and painted
  19. would be good to see some fresh faces on here.. that is what i was getting at.
  20. hey chris.. do you know if Couriers Please deliver to Melb? and i can I use the company account to do it on friday? (I'll pay whatever it costs to do it). I need a place to ship my sideskirts to somebody, but most don't take private deliveries (e.g. you need to have an account with them)
  21. i'm arguing for fresh cheese, lol
  22. hey ya'll
  23. Well the cop also has to explain the maths on the spot in the court room doesn't he? and justify how he was able to do this in his head with sufficient confidence to book the driver at the time. If there was any uncertainty and the judge is cluey enough to see it could be a major flaw, I think Inasnt may be lucky? BUT with Victoria being the way it is there is probably something enshrined like "the cop is always right, even if he has only done year 11 basic maths". Isn't evidence by the copper *required* to be brought to court?? as in a radar reading or the like. If not it will be thrown out wouldn't it?? Or do they just need a valid justification as to how they believed the driver was doing? Wouldn't they just change it to "dangerous driving" in the end, as that is more arbitary? Maybe if you present enough maths at them that is their backup plan "but but, in our opinion he was driving dangerously". And as we all know, that can mean anything. Either way i reckon they'll get you for something that can hurt.
  24. methinks it is time this thread be bannished to the pit.. never to be spoken of again there is the occassional worthwhile post in there somewhere i guess.. its kinda like "wrx vs skyline" except its Skyline guy against other Skyline guy.. hmm
  25. Interesting actually .. of course i wouldn't know where you are talking about.. but if say i did ... whilst of course the GTR go nicely, its not like the modified GTS-T can't keep up or are left behind. In the end it all comes down to driver skill, and of course having a car you know how it behaves helps. And this suspension stuff is nonsense, as who really keeps the stock suspension in either a GTR or GTS-T. To me there is no inherant differences in the actual geometry after all (?? correct me if wrong). It can be a VSPEC GTR or whatever it likes, and they come with strut bars and nicer factory suspension.. but upgrading these things on a lowly GTS-T to aftermarket (probably much better than GTR stock) and they start behaving a lot more nicely and being almost as "point and shoot" as a GTR (i'd imagine). The GTR does only pass drive to the front on loss of traction after all... Make the GTS-T lose as little traction as possible, bump up the torque a little (what people are talking about with the GTR "pushing them back in their seat" is mainly torque I'd imagine.. helped by the twin turbos), eliminate lag as much as possible in the GTS-T coming from just the single turbo and the differences become thinner and thinner.
