you'd probably have to go 2nd hand for 17" rims and tyres for only $1500 also try www.nissansilvia.com (silvias got hte same stud pattern as the n/a skylines).. or www.woosecruising.com (boost crusing) - they have plenty of ricers who spend stupid amounts of $ on things such as fancy rims.

yer.. thats what i thought - these are just for ****ing around with, not looking good. thats what i got em for. well as a *rough* guide, i picked up my set of 2nd hand set of 17x8 chrome rims for $1000. Then about $800 for tyres (got cheap us $200 Falken ZE326 which i would NOT recommenD). So around $1800 all up. check board.performanceforums.com (when its back up!) they have a really good wheel forum with some good deals on there. That is where i got mine acutally i think way back when

all have ups and downs.. everybody wants a perfect long last tyre that is cheap, good in the wet, good on the track, grips well on the road, and under every condition -- not going to happen. check the "tyre and suspension" area and old threads in there, there is alot of useful stuff i learned in there.

eug: don't have rpoper pix.. i'll take em tomorrow. basically just multispoke thingos.. with the "S" in the centrecaps.. they are only 15". Like i said they'd only be really for drifting, burnouts or the drags, they're not really a "look at me" rim to drive around with if that is what u wanted. I was asking $250 .. but i'd take $150 for the them.

depends what ur budget is really.. for something cheap you're gonna pay around $200 a tyre if not less.. good = $300 - $400 per tyre.

who drives in the wet anyhow/? i lived in melbourne, i drove in the wet all the time.. you can drive with bald tyres in the wet as long as u take it easy.

mine would be cheap.. i really want to sell the whole rims and tyres as the lot.. i got em posted up on a couple of other forums. They're gts-x rims, but will fit an R33 n/a. But really if you just want tyres, go buy some tyres 16" good tyres should be cheap. i got them for the 31, but with the buggered diff its not doing anything like a burnout anytime soon. Prolly too underpowerd anyhow

Eug: i have 4x 4stud rims that'll fit a n/a r33.. 2x have Yokohama advans which are decent tyres if you want something for fun...
