its whoever gets to the end first after the light drops.. what do you mean by "spooling up?" if you mean spooling up the turbo until the lights go green isn't that irrelevent as its your definitely not sitting there at idle *until* the green xmas tree light goes on in any car. do you mean from idle revs or something? :confused: In any situation, whether at the strip or "elsewhere" you generally know you are about to be dragging and prepare things. Even if you're on a rolling start, your turbo would probably be "spooled up" anyhow.. so i can't see the situation where suddenly you both have to start at "idle" speed.

AFM most likely. exactly the same thing as was happening on my r31 after i took the AFM and snapped it the other weekend foot of accelerator pretty much instant stall, running really rough. how do you clean it?? very fugging carefully so the above doesn't happen.. or what rob is saying above. But often oil and crap can clog on there which makes just spraying stuff on not too effective.

Good for you.. I've been as passenger in most of these cars however.. that is enough to get a feel for how they drive, although not as true as driving one I will admit. And well interior, exterior, room, turning heads on the street, and everything else I prefer the R34 GT-T, and so do many others. You don't have to have actually sat behind the steering wheel to know that. Anythow, this a skyline forum, and a discussion about the R34 GT-T, not the silvia.

anyway for those that weren't listening to triplej 2 mins ago.. there was this guy who borrowed his mates BMW then said it was "stolen". He got it resprayed, then a few weeks later showed it off to his mate "hey look man i got this cool new beamer now too".. of course his mate worked it out pretty quickly, and he was busted.. he was a muzza from the sounds of the name too ..
