  1. i think i got 1300 on pingwin after just a little too many minutes playing it a while back.. i'm too scared to try the others reading everybody's else response now
  2. yeah.. little girls don't really turn me on post some *real* women up here lol
  3. Why? Spitfires are total overkill in a fairly mild street car. There are coil packs that come up on here every so often, and a wrecker may be able to help you out. Just make sure you get the right type as they are different between the series 1, and series 1.5 onwards due to the slightly different ignition setup on each. Failing that, check this thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=29852 contact dAVE and pray he still has the ones you need
  4. I'm still wiping the drool away from the viper and now you post this? you're too cruel! obviously no expense spared on that one.
  5. they do nice paddock work.. maybe in the process you can bend the chasis back the correct way
  6. Anybody got a good mechanic or place that does safety certificates in bris? I need one for the R31 to get it back on the road. Preferably as close to public transport as possible. I don't want full dodge as its gotta go to the transport department to look at, but then again I don't want the type of place that picks out small little things to fleece you for money. Unfortunately thats been the majority of places I've ever been to with previous cars Don't want them to be going over the car to the n'th degree as I got better stuff to do than stuff with it for ages right now. Its got 95% tread, good brakes, the shocks and stuff are up to scratch and all the lights, etc work fine so to me thats safer than half the crap on the road. So maybe there is a place your family takes your older cars to or something like that who aren't tossers and you can recommend. cheers, me
  7. like mud says.. go to a glass place, say "i want this in this shape". They got special equipment that can cut it to any shape.
  8. ba.. anybody just copies Ska's idea I'll kill em personally I hate it when somebody comes up with something good due to their own creativity and everybody else steals it.
  9. yes.. strut tower
  10. yeah.. gotta call a few places.. but to be honest don't have the cash right now so probably better to wait closer to when i do. Otherwise when u go back to them to get the work done like 3 weeks later they go "huh?"
  11. door fully resprayed.. guard fully resprayed.. new sideskirts prepped, painted and fitted (don't even ask what he thought of dmd stuff). Want a good quality job. If its $200-$300 more than somewhere else i'd prefer the quality job.
  12. don't wrench it.. you'll break something.. should just be held in by a small metal pin clip.
  13. well just got one quote.. $1023 for getting doors ripped off and repainted.. but that'll get me new sideskirts and things fitted. Could be worse..
  14. Paul, found this a really good way to learn the basics myself: http://auto.howstuffworks.com/clutch.htm Even has some nice flash animations showing it all working. Very good stuff.
  15. hmmm..tried calling this cruisin panel shop.. guy who does the work out for lunch.. After that time to call Dr Custom and see what he can do me for. .lol I hate sorting this sort of stuff out each time!
  16. yeah.. standard, although apparently not necessary. You should take same shots, so at least people know what the oil squirters look like spreading the knowledge and all..
  17. :boobs:
  18. I've heard Crusin Panel Shop is good also.. from knore who also has had work done there Dr Kustom sounds good too.
  19. Often can be the cat converter if its a new one. They can become smelly and burny.
  20. somebody doesn't know their maths...
  21. I'd imagine you just have to careful pry the old one off.. use a bit of glue and a staple gun to attach whatever over the top. Then glue back onto the rest of the trim.
  22. green dash? just remember you gotta look at it every day so you better like bright green! Thats why I did some of the other stuff but left that.. was thinking cherry red for the whole dash facia could be a little too much too handle on a daily basis. na_r33: yeah.. when i buy a new door trim, i was going to play with the old one and see how easy it would be to retrim (at least the insert) myself.
  23. I've seen a few show cars with the full white treatment. Looked good to me, but all a bit of personal taste. It does come up pretty bright and things. seat retrim in leather would be pretty expensive -- probably around the $1000 mark from what somebody told me.
  24. GTR and GTS-T clutches are different.. one is push and one is pull type, so you basically can't chuck one into a GTS-T.. I think Exceedys are around $600 or so, but check around. p.s. if you get in quick and nice to kylie you might be able to grab one in this group buy: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=36696
  25. ouch... me bleeds to death slowly.. That can look great with the white leather.. if you've got the time go for it! White dash would look good too I reckon, if you clear coat it and things should come up really nice. Add some EL dials and should look much more modern.
