  1. slurp.. burp.. and wur'up?
  2. A little ontopic or maybe off topic depending on how you look at it: Are you use the whole Infinity loom or are you going to splice into the standard 33 loom? Is not a cheap conversion, even when you know things by the looks of things - but hey, the price of doing something differnet is worth it! Will be good to see the rumble from it.
  3. With regards to the above... was thinking about that myself. Not sure how they managed to get the V8 through with the laws. Maybe it was just a volume thing. xx cars or % had to be shipped with tighter emissions controls. Somebody here probably knows better than me on this?? The VK 6cly engine was a bit of a dog anyhow, and lost a stack of power on the VB, and VC motors. VN wasn't too much better, but I think by about VP and onwards at least they got the power levels back up again. Holden Australia is interestingly enough supplying the "new" generation V6 they're building to a go to number of overseas manufacturers to put in their vehicles. One of them is to go in one particular vehicle (unfortunately i forget the actual manufacturer but it wasn't too minor), and with head modifications puts out a fair bit of power in turbo form. So will we see another turbo powered holden in future?
  4. he's probably on the ground right after drowning his sorrows.. and feeling a distrust for the entire legal system and system on which society is based it happens.
  5. pft..one word : gay.. if you like i can go down to the docks in japan and release the valve on all the cars for $5. Thats what's gonna happen. $120.. ba what a stupid law. what a stupid government. stupidness..
  6. History: Holden had to develop an unleaded version of their engines to meet emissions standards that were coming up in 1986. They were developing their own engine, but had all sorts of delays and stuff ups (e.g. they couldn't even do it right!) so basically in the end they had to cave and buy the Nissan engine at the last minute. Now what is still the most popular 6 cylinder of the 80's? both the VL RB30e powered commodore and VL RB30e turbo .. funny.
  7. oh yeah knore if they're asking to see you, remember they'll give you the rubber glove treatment .. and they DONT use new gloves each time yeah, you be taxed 10% GST + duty on the GST for the value of the goods.
  8. thanks strutto.. may keep it in mind. I'm going to be down the GC a fair bit. Won't be long before i'm moving down there i guess. knore: you gotta go all the way to the f.ucking airport to pick up something that is *sent* to you? What a scam.. bloody terrorists, bloody sales tax, bloody bloody.
  9. I always though that I1I11I would be cool.. imagine the cop trying to recognise *that* one from a distance and in court later on "you sure it was I1II1I not I111I1?"
  10. It sounds good.. But a lot of that information like people are saying is readily available in aftermarket ECU. Even the S-AFC will display REVS, AFM voltage, o^2, and TPS -- and readily had for $400 now plus of course the adjustment factor. Its not everything your device looks like being able to display though. Will be useful for tuners I'd imagine. The pFC is a full replacement, so yes, it does monitor all that (and probably more). Well it has to, to drive the car! In fact it does away with the total diagnostic port altgoether which is just for the stock ECU.
  11. winvnc is sweet.. such a small footprint as well. When i had a home network it was awesome as I only needed one PC with the monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
  12. Don't worry. I have enough information I think posted above. While I'm here, for anybody buying a car its always a good idea to do a REVS check to ensure there is no outstanding finance on the vehicle: 07 3246 1599 -- you can do it on the phone as well if you have a c.c. Here is further info. http://www.consumer.qld.gov.au/oft/oftweb....nt&L1=Consumers
  13. lol @ strutto: The unidentified couple, from the central city of Zhengzhou, were fooled by their child's underdeveloped sexual organs, dressing him in girl's clothes and teaching him to go to the women's room, the Zhengzhou Evening News reported. hehehe.. er ok! some people are weird the world over. ok, now i really am off..
  14. i shall try! not looking forward to getting up at 7am tomorrow.. anyway better go.. cyazzzzz
  15. can't let one setback get you down! one step back, five steps forward...
  16. Um, down at umart today for the first "official" day so i'll be there 3 days a week. I'm also looking at slotting some other things in between to make up the rest of the time. Gotta drive back tomorrow, meet with somebody at 8:30a for a website client -- yikes (not my idea that time of day), and after that interview for hopefully 1-2 days doing webdesign a week
  17. ba, i'm over money.. i was like that younger days.. each year I progressively grow less money hungry. I've had money, i've not had money, life goes on. You either are spending so much time earning it you don't have time for other things, or so much time doing other things you're flat broke. yin and yang. its a double edged sword the old green
  18. The corporate world is never a pretty one.. hence why i've tried to dodge it as best as possible. But that doesn't necessarily mean the best for the finances.
  19. me puts hand up.. actually looks a kinda like mindflux with makeup maybe for some strange reason?
  20. why move to a shitty place such as the US when there is QLD? I've never really desired to go to the den of evil (the US) particularly myself.
  21. chaos: yeah, there are viruses out that almost do similar. Install a trojan on your machine, then later they can get in via IRC and control all their little army of "slave" PC's to do their bidding. Kind of insidious actually. Or the old fashioned "back orifice"
  22. I could mount a secret webcam behind you, and as you went to click on say an "Ok" button something I could just move your mouse out the way. Imagine how much that would confuse the absolute hell out of anybody
  23. where is your office ska? me pictures myself having a little fun out the front with an orphan desktop keyboard and mouse it would be like a phantom interference on your pc and it was possessed by a spirit or something. Actually that could be kinda freaky!
  24. i can imagine the nightmare logistics replacing the batteries in a whole heap of desktops across a corporate enviroment though. Do you have like 50 battery charges running each night?
