I'm sorry but I don't think "skyline" and "not spending money" really go in the same sentence. Maybe you should just stick with what you've got. Don't want to turn you off too much as they're great cars -- but if your chief need is a tight budget, to be honest its not what I'd recommend.

yeah.. heard that - HKS 2530 will only give 230rwkw or so on an RB25DET. Apparently though its meant to spin up quicker than the stocker and give you a bootfull of midrange which sounds nice. Keeps the engine nice and safe anyhow. anyhow, i'm off..later all.

lol maybe, but then again they were designed to be cheap to make and give 165kw or whatever the stock R32 power output is So they do that. Just like the stockie RB25 turbo isn't great either.. wish i had the funds for an 2530 myself. Probably what i would go for -- not after big dyno figures. I got d-speed skirts in brisbane.. check parts forsale. Guy says he is taking them though - just waiting to here back further details. So if he doesn't they're still available. Will look nice with stock bar and something different.

Theres no such thing as a "good turbo" ..there are just turbos that are suited for low revs, high revs, different engines, fully rebuilt engines, street, track, etc -- lots of different factors

r33 turbos and r32 turbos are the same flange so no problems there. Some are more designed for 2L rather than 2.5 If its a Trust TD06, yeah, they're plain bearing so don't have oil lines. Worth giving a try though.. $1500 ? as long as it doesn't need rebuilding.

it doesn't have to be for evil purposes though. No more invalid than product placement in the movies or whatever. Apparently "smoking" visible on screen is at massive levels, simply as cigarette companies know that its a nice way to make their products cool again, and also nicely circumnavigate laws against cigarette advertising.. So the rumours are that cigarette companies provide kickbacks to the studios or to actors to have characters smoking a fag in the movie..

There was a case in some US schools where they were actually giving the "cool" kids like the latest Nike or Adidas or whatever shoes. The effect of this was to convince all the other kids to pester their parents to get the same shoes, because the cool kids had them Nice huh? Why advertise, when you can simply let people's own word of mouth spread the name of the product? Nice evil marketing concept, but I'd assume it would work in certain places. There's probably whole marketing books dedicated to the theory

sounds like them.. didn't really sound like they were running a professional place when i went in there. I rocked up and grabbed what I wanted.. but god.. you can hardly get in the place. How are you meant to get there and pick something up if you can barely get in the street? I was surprised i got out of there with no damage to my car to be honest. If they're uncoated, means they just come straight out of the mould. My sideskirts already will need some work to smooth back and things. Ends up costing more for the final job as the panel shop has to dick with it and extra labour.

well you're gonna need rocket proof forgies and repairing of whatever you broke contiuing to drive it, since you never took care of the old engine.. Doubt you'll have much change out of $10k by the time you get all that and try for a bigger turbo and the like.
