Its so hard to get original stuff or something different. try DMD Otherwise if you have the money speak to Rezz, he should be able to speak to some people in Japan and source you one. Won't be cheap I wouldn't imagine, but may be able to get an original. It sucks when you want to be different you have to pay much more. All the stuff that jetspeed had looked pretty hideous, or cost a bit more, so at the time just went for the 400R because it was there and still looks good. Is this similar to yours??

well i ain't one.. but i'm still dubious as to how many in 6-12 months time are going to be forsale, because the owners could only afford $18k, rather than $30k for a local one. nxtime has a point too .. stock 89 is a waste of time.. as the difference between that and a stock 92 under SEVS is about $5k max. And that would easily be held through when you went to sell it over an 89.

I think that car is a demo car for the place.. so probably didn't cost him that much. Anybody else, I'd imagine it wouldn't be cheap. strange.. isn't stock factory weight meant to be 1390kg? Thats a under what i would have thought. Hmm, wonder how much mine weighs? I'm probably lugging 100kg of crap i don't need.. Guards are only 3kg each (weighed them).. you wouldn't save much from c/f. Doors probably would be biggest reduction if you could get them carbon (you can, but from japan they're $2k each or something)

If you think about it, its probably getting more air from your t3/t4 than it expects, therefore dumping more fuel it to keep it all nice and safe. And I've heard the PFC goes for "safety first" with its default map, so that it runs richer than necessary to protect your engine. After all, Apexi would figure the stock map needs to cope with big turbos, etc at least to get you to the tuning shop. Really depends how much power you're actually putting out atm, but my guess is it just needs tuning before you're really going to know the exact point your AFM and/or injectors max out. But you're definitely right, if you're going for the big power you're gonna need all the mojo very soon

why do people always contact the ACCC? They have been shown time in and time out to be pretty much useless. You can't claim the government is being anti-competitive against itself? The ACCC is for organisations acting unproperly against consumers, not the government doing so lol While the NCC looks fine and good, trying to get the government to totally backflip and go against a protected market (which Australia is), and which has been carried through over the last 50 years.. I think though is a bit of an impossible task. While its sometimes important to focus on the "bigger picture" I think that micro-steps are the only way in which these things will be changed. SEVS will never be abolished, and imports will never be actively encouraged. It is creating a reasonable balance that is the issue here I think.

You are still running the stock default map?? Well no wonder its maxing everything out! as the stock map for the PFC is just designed for the stock turbo.. Amongst other things that the PFC will be controlling is ignition timings, injector pulse, fuel intake, etc. You really should get it all tuned *before* you start lashing out for new injectors, new fuel pump, etc. my 2c.

Thought the 240z vs 350z was a bit lame. I mean they're so far apart its not funny.. . Made me realise the 240z was cool though Cams covered some basics which helped my mind a little understand things better. But there are GTR in their every month! ok, maybe i'm just becoming a little sick of the same stuff in there. Gran Turismo 4 preview didn't cover any new ground, bit disappointing seeing as that is one of the reasons i got the mag. anyhow, mag is now read, away and "meh" was attached to it. Might not bother with next month unless something truly grabs me.

I am sure 50 people on this forum will swap your blue hoses for plain black ones if its really a hassle. Go to Purple Pig (Bayswater, or Tullamarine I have been to)..they will have what you need. Purple Pig is open until 12pm on Saturdays.. i think the tulla one a bit later.
