I didn't know they had vehicles that went around reporting people! So damn ridiculous.. up here not ONE of you would get an EPA notice for noise.. Just down the street there are about 5 buzz boxes that go past every day that wouldn't last 5 mins in melbourne. Noise is such a problem in our society isn't it guys? ****in bullshit..

You could blindfold people, spinn them around, and play "pin the defect on the skyline" for whacky prizes!

I'll just add what I was telling you Mark. A month or so back I had similar. Came home one night after a long drive (200km or so). Had a few very hard launches just as i was almost home. One hard launch CRUNCH into 2nd.. then every gear pretty much it would have troubles going into. and was crunching seriously and making very bad grindy noises. Seriously thought my clutch, or worse gearbox was fried (it seemed more gearbox than clutch as it wasn't slipping, but I could be wrong). Next day, was still doing it, agg, this was bad - was hoping severely it was just a heat related problem. Left it for a few days. Started behaving a lot more reasonably, still the slight crunch as it went into gears though. For the next few days after that it gradually got more and more reasonable, and eventually back to totally normal as it has always been. Seems like it had "repaired" itself or maybe the internals had aligned them selves correctly again. No idea! And still no idea to this day, and I don't have much idea of how a gearbox really works other than it has "synchros" and "selector forks" to get it into gears. Never sure it was the gearbox or clutch related problem. Anybody have any suggestions? You have to remember though, the gearboxes aren't unbreakable. I am sure I could hose my gearbox if I really tried hard enough over a long enough period, even with 190rwkw or so... just with hard geardowns, long gearups (just my driving style i guess) its starting to show its wear.

nope.. read above mate. I used to live 10mins from there.. and its a VERY common break-in area. Its just a random attack.. and the theives of course go for an import because they know they're more likely to get expensive items out of there.

Chadstone is dodgy man! Even though its a rich area, there are gangs that patrol the car parks and breakins there are a common occurance pretty much every day.. particularly skylines from what i've heard. Try and get security tapes of the area if they have any. Also: a good way to prevent your car being such a target is parking it close to the stairs, exits, etc where everybody walks past frequently. No thief is probably going to be brazen enough to do it metres from so many people walking past.

2 door is fine for 4x people.. lots of room - more room than most other 2 door cars. Its just the hassle of flipping down the seat to get them in. Personally don't really like the 4door R32 at all, 4door 33 ok with kit and done up.. 4door R34 is mighty fine

He "accidentally" put 36 as his age??? ..and he can't change it? likely story.. more like so people didn't bag him when they found his real age. Its just getting a damn tiring all these people coming on here saying "what should i get for my first car" when i doubt they have the finances, and are just "wondering" what they should get when they finally do get their licence...then magically say they have $35k to spend. There is no way you could have $35k to spend on your first car unless you have very rich parents or were selling drugs (or your ass) since age 12. Come on, show us your real bank balance - i wanna see. What erks me most: the same question has been asked about 10 times anyhow!!
