At the end of the day though, these people refused to stop for the police, and then went on a high speed run while being pursued by the cops. So the blame and result lies squarely with them. In general I think it's a bit stupid to assume cops never get carried away with the chase, and/or make mistakes in some situations. What wouldn't be more exciting than chasing after somebody in a high speed pursuit? with the law on your side, knowing you can go as fast as you like, and at the end of the day, you're not the one going to jail/facing years of license suspension, etc? I know all cops wouldn't have that attitude... but there are some.

Rb25det Conversion To R32 Gts-t
predator replied to Absent's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
RB26 is waste of money in an R32 or R33.. May as well upgrade to the GTR. Yes, rb25 is worth it. What do you need to know anyhow? -
Get a modified one.. even if you have to replace a few things that have worn out, the amount you save on the mods balances out. And the car is a lot more from the get-go, rather than waiting for things that you can afford 'one day'.. and you end up spending all this effort and money to get to point b) when you could have started at point b) and be looking towards point c) I'm pretty sure snowboard won't fit.. no fold down rear.. at best you'd fold down the front and put it diagonal.. or get racks.

From my understanding there is a backup ground for the fuel pump, so this is why the pump is still running. There is a resistor (in a silver box) in your engine bay on the strut tower. This is for safety purposes.

You're best off going to aircon place and asking their opinion, as they would have dealt with 100's of compressors and know what effect any differences could have.

What Decent Component Speakers Around $250-300?
predator replied to JimX's topic in Car Audio & Electrical
I've got the Focal 165V's. They're quite good.. a little too much trebble (fine in conjunction with a sub), but otherwise not too bad. I used to have Hertz splits in my old r33.. about the same quality as the focals to my ears. Either should give that increase over the sub $150-250 mass produced brands. -
don't they? hmm.. might have to remove mine then I was just looking at it the other week .. the "projector" is h3c.. and the other highbeam is a JA12V.. which I've been told is a standard H3

yes.. im running my old "r32 afm" in my s1 rb25.. same thing

Pin off a broken or spare slave cylinder. Don't really need the cylinder, just the actuator pin.

After the plastic base and leather shift boot off an R32 GTR or GTST

I will donate $2 of regular unleaded to ska.. as long as I can use fuel dockets... and only because i know it will hurt his car

yeah.. he's great. He used to also do most of the tuning for Gavin Wood I went in there with my old setup, and just an SAFC and poxy auto and told him "you can tune it fairly agressively as I don't care too much about the motor" and a smooth 12-12.5 a/f right across the range. Exactly what I wanted, and a great result with limited tuning available with just an SAFC (and the auto) His dyno chart seems a little strange in terms of power readings, but as a tuning tool (what its for really), it does the trick. I definitely know where I'll be going to get my new setup and powerfc tuned.

I would pay $200 all up i guess if that included the seal, but not $200 just in labour.. It couldn't take more than an hour's work by a professional. It's not too hard to remove the outer seal, just shove the car in the sun for an hour and its nice and soft. Then lever off the top metal joiner, and lever each half off by pulling. It comes apart in two pieces. My car doesn't actually have any rear outer seal at the moment. It's still pretty water-tight, even without a seal. To be honest I think it's more of a cosmetic thing, as my window doesn't look like it will fall out anytime soon going 100+ km/hr

f**k me.. I've spent around 6 hours trying to get my passenger window aligned properly.. I knew there must be a specific trick to it! <kisses> p.s. on the front/back windscreens.. O'briens is a rippoff. . I was quoted $180 labour just to replace one measly seal! And that was before they even found out which seal it actually was...

missed out by one week andrew! had exactly what you wanted and sold it for $100 last weekend.

You have to remember some of the cheaper R34 are coming up on 8 years old now, so the price seems to be coming down a little in Japan. For a later one (i.e. a good 01 or 02 car) the prices are quite a few $k higher from what I have investigated. But then again, what does that say for the age of R33's or gasp, R32's We're dealing with pretty old cars these days. If I was in the market for that sort of car I'd pay high 20's for sure, or probably up to around $32k as it has a few nice mods. You also have to look across to the current value of the S15 to get a bit of an idea. Which is a better car for the money, that's another debate

I don't know Mud, I don't think the world is ready for the re-appearance of the Ninja. Maybe there will come a place and time, when the Ninja's are ready to take on the wasteland again, but maybe that time is not now. All my tshirts are dirty right now anyhow.. It was all josh'es fault. One golden shower just wasn't enough for him.
