  1. aussie R31..r32..r33 same size if that helps..
  2. I installed the same.. no drawbacks, maybe some firmer steering.
  3. http://www.baycorpadvantage.com/ If any of you are curious.. request a free credit history from the above.. Nearly all financial institutions make a heavy decision on whether to lend based on the above. If Baycorp has a bad record of your credit, you're up the shit without no paddle. They own your ass, and nearly every Australian.
  4. bump.. actually not sorted after one.. can be off GTST or GTS..
  5. to 1. doubt it.. personally i think rb20 and auto is a very poor combination due the lack of revs but your call there. 2. should do.. they are same RE4R01A box.. look on any build plate of an r33 if you are unsure
  6. damn.. well at least you're ok jase.. Hope you get it sorted, whatever option you decide to take.
  7. seems to be looking pretty gone on nearly r32 i have seen around.. I might go ask nissan.. but they've got enough money out of me this month i think :-s
  8. knock sensor would only be an optional extra thats offered on the safc2.. its not required for SAFC operation.
  9. i like brown string.. it costs 99c at safeway
  10. the powerfc remaps the engine check light as the 'knock light'..
  11. $495.95 australia wide is the agreed price set by all workshops
  12. So is this whole event at QR ? 500km around QR could be a bit tiresome - but its a good idea in theory.
  13. I'll have a stab and say $10k profit ? Thats why the dealers will be jumping on these.. don't think they're so interested in R33's anymore, as the profit margins must only be a couple of $k these days, and hard to shift. When jo "know nothing about cars" walks in and sees a 350z for $50k second hand, and a V35 for like maybe close to $50k.. and the V35 is more optioned and maybe the different factor.. thats the types of buyers dealers would be looking fro.
  14. yup indeed.. **SOLD**
  15. i got a few .. from a mangled one with some weird bonding stuff on it.. to 5x better ones. I can sell you one or two. What are you doing to it? -gordon
  16. Not necessarily, if the fan blades are more efficient, you can get more airflow with less drag on the pulley system. but craved is right, I swapped it over onto my rb20 and noticed it gave better cooling... its a slightly better design, like many things on the rb25.
  17. Cost me $300 to do my R32 with proper 3M tint. don't know any bargain basement places up here.
  18. SAFC.. good condition with stand an harness.. hook it up in 30 mins and tune away.. Asking $200 for pickup, or $210 express post delivery.. see here for further details http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...2&t=110461&st=0
  19. SAFC blue screen in good condition. Not the latest model, but does pretty much exactly the same thing as the new one. Comes with full harness, etc to install and the original Apexi mount stand. Follow my install guide in the tutorials section and in 30 minutes or so you should have it installed. Will suit R32, r33, r34 auto/manual and quite a few other cars. Was working fine, but now have other plans. Should still have a tune for an rb20det auto with rb25 turbo running 16psi - or clear it to start fresh. Just the thing for a cheap power upgrade, or for an auto, etc. Asking $210 including express post delivery anywhere in Australia ** SOLD ***
  20. s3 r31, r32, r33 autos all same... different shift logic controlled by ecu. mentioning "RE4R01" will get you the parts you need..
  21. Here is a photo.. I am just in the process of converting mine to manual, amongst other things.. I just labelled them based off the old auto shifter, and I think I've got it down. But could be wrong.. So you just gotta find out which one isn't 12v when the lights are on (the globe), and I think the other two are your park switch. Bridge them together. For your reverse lights, you're going to have to hook into your gearbox reverse wires.. I think its the sensor at the back of the box.. Anyhow, I gotta play with it all and work it out myself.. when i do I'll post it up somewhere.
  22. mine always "disappeared" just like yours.. just before i pulled the rb20 out, it started overheating chronically. I believe the thermostat was on its way out, as I tried the usual suspects but it still kept doing it. I don't think it was the radiator cap... but probably time to replace that as well.
  23. yes they do.. but those parts are hard to find.. and expensive as everybody else is looking for them. you could be waiting weeks/months.
  24. I believe they mentioned it previously, but like the above, it was prone to error so they didn't go ahead with it. No doubt, even if it has flaws, like many of the camera systems, they will still implement it regardless.
