  1. Victoria takes about $300 million *per year* and between it and NSW would have to be some of the highest revenue raising states through speed cameras in the entire world. Without it the state government there would be bankrupt.
  2. I've got one in decent condition.. goldcoast I am not quite sure whether the tyre is out of round (very likely) or the rim has a buckle. I believe its probably the former, as the rim itself seems fine. 0417 016 326
  3. looks like fashion killed him.. bought 20 inch rims.. couldn't afford the tyres when one one blew (as seems to be the case with most kids with super 5000" bling bling rims on).. drove around on the space saver a bit too long.. paid the consequence. I mean obviously it was probably not the main trigger for the accident (or was it?) but it can't have helped when trying to pull the car back in under control. Thats tough situation gtstcruiser67.. knowing somebody a bit more personally its always different in these situations. Its a personality to the face. The best I ever saw was a new model merc driving along the M1 at 110km/hr with a space saver on. Female <ethnicicity here> driver. Had to change lanes as I just didn't feel safe driving anywhere near her car.

what bits and pieces you want? I've got rb20det engine parts..
  5. still available.. Enough for a full rb20 build if you wanted.
  6. there'd be no difference between the r32 one and the series1 afm, as they are the same unit.. the only difference is the s2 one as per above. where they actually run out of resolution and effectively the power they can make may be different because of the different head flow between the rb20 and rb25 heads. Thats why people probably come to the conclusion they make different power, therefore they are different.. no the afm is the same, the engines are different
  7. I've tried an RB25 ignition module on my rb20 .. wouldn't crank?? Same coil packs, etc but how it fires must be slightly different. lol.. lots of ?? in here
  8. yup, you'll have eliminated the heater core entirely, so you can narrow it down to whether its that or something else. Even if it is something else as well, if its leaking through the cabin, then you'll need to replace it at some point if you want your heater back. yeah.. if you get access down there, or rig up a hose and a couple of hose<->hose connectors just where it goes through the firewall. Probably easier 2nd way. on an rb25 the thermostat is a bit easier to change than rb20.. but its located just where the bottom radiator hose goes into the engine.
  9. ... off you go.. you've spotted a business opportunity, now you just have to make it happen..
  10. I thought the whole reason you couldn't run the rb25 powerfc on an rb20 was the different ignition system more than anything else? If you used the rb25 ignitor, cas and the rb25 ecu then i'd imagine you'd be pretty close.
  11. two issues.. your heater box as above - and maybe also its so bad its leaking enough pressure to causing the whole car to overheat. A small leak in the cooling system can make a huge difference to its efficiency 2nd possible could be that the thermostat or the like is busted.. causing overheating.. the overheating as a side effect has caused your old and wearing heater core to spring a leak due to a lot of expansion and heat.
  12. i was fine with 89 lines.. and they're on my rb25 now
  13. yeah.. true, been there enough last few weeks For those sort of more specific r32/r33 items that aren't on the shelf, in the past its "Oh we have to ship it from japan, wait 3 weeks, and pay $100 for it". Usually they only have the parts that are shared on a few local models, and if not they don't really want to bother with it. But I guess that is where i'll be heading if I can't get one in the next couple of weeks.
  14. i'd ask why on the clutch, but i really can't be bothered..
  15. the nismo ones won't kick you in the balls either...
  16. http://www.project32.net/tutorials.php you don't need much .. Series 1 turbo would do you fine. I could do it for you probably if it was worth my while.. or just follow my guide.
  17. still after these.. They're probably the same on an RB25DE Don't make me twist normal hoses
  18. I'm going to start a black r32 1989 model with a few scratches.. who's name start with g.. and its mostly dirty, and its got stock rims cruise.. hang on a sec.. that'd just be me. oh well
  19. I've got a AAC off an RB20det.. $50 I've got an alternator off my old rb20det as well... $100 Buy both for $150 and i'll include shipping
  20. The sat nav.. pretty useless in Australia so it probably gets ripped out and replaced with a standard cluster.. but I've seen it on a few..
  21. I have one off my R32.. the same one is on my rb25 now.. was working fine, but don't need a spare. Its 80amp. $100

    Welsh Plugs

I'd just take everything apart yourself - and get a mobile mechanic to replace them. It's only nuts and bolts. Just time consuming to get them all off. Will save you hundreds. And once you've done it once, it's much quicker the second, third, fourth, etc times
  23. Looks like I've tracked one down, along with a couple of other small parts I need, so think I have it sorted. Thanks for the pictures though - has helped a lot.
  24. After a good r33 accelerator cable.. ** GOT ONE **
  25. hmm..does it make the car go quicker? well, its all in.. still need to put a lot of the small things back together, and do the wiring, but the main part is done. Was a bit easier than we thought to get in the rb25.. took 15 mins of actual dropping in in once everything was assembled on the 25. Gotta get rid of those vomit green on the cam covers, but otherwise starting to look good. Kennards has decent engine cranes for about $50 a day if anybody ever needs to know. And they all fold up and even fit in a pulsar
