  1. Got a standard r32 gts-t pump lying around.. Was using it in my car without problems until about 2 months ago. Price: 6 pack
  2. Got the curly bendy pipe thingo, that goes from clutch master cylinder to gearbox slave cylinder. You'll need this if you're doing a manual conversion. Pickup from goldcoast. ** SOLD **
  3. have updated pix it in the original thread.. let me know if interested. Not sure whether you'd do it for looks http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=97862
  4. see below.. looking to swap my modified rb25 front-facing plenum for standard plenum. Some don't think front facing plenum is a great idea due to flow to rear cylinders, some think its fine. Up to you, or discussion with tuner as to whether you should do it. Cheap way to give it a try anyhow, gets the piping off your engine and allows much easier access to plugs, etc at any time. Main reason i want to swap, is that I've already got 'cross over' piping, and need a standard facing plenum http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=97862
  5. Yes, they do a great job, and its not easy. I was just noticing a few that were going on and on with a bump on every day, and i just thought that the rule wasn't being enforced. But I am sure they have been sorted... If there is actually any need for any extra hands, I'll be working from my home office 3 days a week next year, so the offer is there.
  6. just move the latch assembly back.. and down.. like I have done on my GTS-T You can work it out.
  7. go to the bank, they'll give you $20k just like that.. enough to buy a decent car..
  8. replacing the steering wheel makes you feel like you are driving a different car... and gives increased feedback when driving. Every time I've had an aftermarket wheel I've loved it and thought it was worth every cent. do it..
  9. jeez.. its the mod police. So everybody has to give to give a massive list of pros and cons for every item that is sold on here? Its debateable. Some see its not a good idea, some reckon that it poses no problem whatsoever. I haven't heard of anybody say it has actually caused major problems with their car... and I have seen the modded standard plenum in a few skylines, for whatever reason. I don't even know why the guy I bought the engine off modded it like that, but he did know his mechical knowledge - and obviously he thought there were valid reasons, such as less piping required, and giving easier access to the engine. I actually need it because of my existing piping setup, otherwise I would have tried it for a while as I think it would be fine. The engine hasn't even gone in yet. Anyhow, if somebody wants to give it a try they can do it for free, and save wasting $xxx getting their plenum modified to do it. If you don't like it, go track down another standard plenum. Like anything, it is worth discussing with your tuner whether its a good idea or not and whether it suits you needs. Have I provided an adequate enough disclaimer yet?? ...sheech
  10. I've got a modified standard rb25det plenum, with the throttle body located to the front fairly professionally. Can take pix if anybody is interested Looking to swap for standard (onmodified) rb25 plenum... just the top part, don't need the runners. Not looking for a sale at the moment, just a swap So basically you get a modified front facing plenum for the price of postage of sending yours to me, and mine to you (so $30 or something). Can organise some sort of security deposit if you're worried, although i have been on these forums for 3+ years now .. here is how this same setup can look like installed... the bottom two photos below is actual plenum
  11. yeh, if you have a magic bar on the drivers side, then the car has been smacked into at some point in japan, and they've replaced it with the r32 update door (1991+). As long as the rest of the car doesn't have signs of dodgy repair, should be ok..
  12. im still keen.. car is tuned.. wanna see how it goes. yeah its wednesday t&t.. wednesday is easiest for me.. will try and think up a meet spot for whoever wants to meet up in a few days.

knore? who the f**k is knore? you mean you finally beat that car into submission .. good work!
  14. DO NOT USE THE OZA23-D2 sensor!! That is the FORD EL one (despite plenty of 'it works' in here) I've been running one on my r32 for a couple of months, and it simply doesn't work as it should.. voltages at warm sit at 1.35v which is NOT the factory. While sure your car will sure, run, its next to useless as its not behaving like it should. Its actually worse than having your oxygen sensor completely disconnected, where it goes into "limp" mode and sits at 0.3v... and the ecu just acts in failsafe for closed loop operation. Checked all this via the consult connector and my laptop.. so I've only recently been able to check properly. You've been warned..
  15. sorry for stating what most people are sick of, but never say anything about oh well, i'll shutup and leave this "feedback section" as is...
  16. I think it was perfectly fair to close it. you were trying to claim there was an element of doubt to something that is pretty much proven to most people to be a waste of time. you'll never get 100% people to agree, because there is always some tool who thinks their mates brothers dog got it running fine on their auto skyline, etc. it does get asked every few weeks.
  17. thinking ahead is a good idea there damuscat they commonly go on rb20.. especially around the 10-15 year mark. Mine suffers the same, drips out the bellhousing.. luckily I am changing the whole engine soon..

you want in matt? I know you do... its a house of love this one..
  20. yeh, the gearbox are fairly cheap..but the rest are the fiddly bits and some are hard to get hold of these days.. minimum $1k + labour to get it done. anyhow, good luck with the quest anton for manual parts if you decide that route. mine feels very strong.. at least 40-50% more power than stock and when it comes on boost you know about it.. so I'm not sure of the dyno reading.. a/f ratios are nice and even around 11.5 near the top end, and at least I know I can give it a hammering in the heat. Power just flattens off at the top and that is where it stays... will post a dyno sheet later. Going to give it a drag strip run, that will give me a better benchmark.. I think really to get any more power out of mine (or any other highflow rb25 turbo for that matter), the answer would simply be more boost, and lots of it... at least 16psi+
  21. I just thought I'd come back to this one.. seeing as similar situation Today I ended up getting only got 178rwhp in my R32 with RB25 highflowed turbo @ 16psi, turbotech boost valve, SAFC, fmic, nismo fpr, gtr fuel pump, and 3" full exhaust system. The same turbo made 230rwkw (300rwhp) on an RB25 at 16psi... so it seems like a very similar situation to yours Anton. Decent turbo - but just doesn't seem to pull the figures on an auto RB20.. Maybe the turbo needs 20psi wring into it to really pull its efficiency range (wouldn't trust that on a stock rb20) ? and probably it requires proper management. But of course PowerFC won't of course run with auto... Mind you it was about 30 degrees.. not shootout mode and that dyno reads quite low... but still, even if you add 10-20% for that, there is something about auto r32 that is funny here. You'd expect higher, and the engine has high compression and no other signs of ill-health. While the SAFC is not an ideal solution, you wouldn't think it would hold it back as much as it has. Car feels pretty fast (and maybe is), so i'm not too disappointed... anyhow, thats enough rb20 for me. Will leave it as is for 3 months or so then rb25 + manual gearbox + powerfc is going in.. rb20 + auto bad combo..

  23. happy birthday, if it really is his birthday <_<
  24. 350z is about the same power as GTT stock.. it has a 1L increase in capacity, so probably has better torque spread, and also doesn't require a turbo so gets going from the line. Not surprising.
