  1. he's dumb enough to be a cop
  2. you could live in there too.. a'la bubble boy.. and bubble bart
  3. yeh, r32 has that on factory belts... if you don't have them buckled in, they light up. When you replace them for complicance, the cables are useless.. either that or spare connection for stacker when an option.
  4. I think the 45v2 compressors are earlier ones.. can come with diff exhaust housing for the VG30 ones, not sure.. I got an RB25 highflow on my rb20, its not too bad for lag... bit more than the stocker for instant wheel spin action, but when it gets going pulls pretty nicely. Still waiting for tune to get the most of it tho.
  5. I've had about 3x rb25 turbos (bought and sold), and my old rb20 one.. all have had about 1mm play in and out, and the turbos have been working fine on the cars. You will be able to feel it pull in and out a tiny bit, which I am pretty sure is normal. They've all pretty much had zero side to side movement.
  6. when you replaced the ACC you didn't lose the little valve thing in there did you? probably not, but just thought I'd suggest
  7. thats probably because they are the earlier turbos, which do not have the nylon wheel.
  8. yes, r33 are 4 piston BRAKES. there is no non type-m on R33.. they are all type-m, so there is no difference.
  9. Have a set of 16" pair of rims.. brand is SEIN (not that it really matters).. No cracks or anything like that. Few minor scratches. Suit burnouts, drift, or other fun activities Currently has tyres nearly gone on there.. and will also throw in a pair of 205/55R16 Potenza Tyres.. with 20% or so even tread left (these came with my car - but wouldn't pass RWC so had to come off). Not sure of the exact width, but they have 225/55R16's on there at the moment, so will take up to about that size. Now only asking $50 for the lot.. - *** SOLD *** Pickup only on the goldcoast.
  10. just like sorny and panaphonics eh?
  11. Thats dodgy pratice for a mechanic to be doing that sort of thing. He could be up for massive fines, and more likely to be on the receiving end of the fine than joe public. Cat shouldn't melt.. must have some massive heat (...more so than standard) coming down your exhaust, which could be a cause for alarm
  12. I have the exhaust, but you would have to organise shipping to Newcastle from goldcoast.. Only want $50 - so depends on the shipping I guess.
  13. I probably should have added "seems to be" to that.. their z32 airflow meter is nissan.. their fuel pumps look awefully like the GTR one.. so wouldn't surprise me if something like the bearings are the same. They just stick their badge on it and stick a massive markup on it <_< somebody might have some more solid info..
  14. most of the tomei gear is simply rebadged nissan oem..
  15. reminds me, probably quite a few QR licenses will be up by Nov30th.. as it was around this time last year that the first track days were run by mountainrunner. Whats the renewal fee?
  16. lol - if you want 0 or closer to it, the only way is an ebc.. and spending more money than $22..
  17. probably not o2... but have a go at adjusting your AAC to raise the idle a little.. Also remove your temp sensor, and lightly sand off the muck with some 800 or so sandpaper.. that can have a massive difference on idle smoothness (fixed my problem)
  18. I always though the 040 was a stupid design.. and yet now everybody seems to want to fit one. 910 is nearly same flow and can be mounted same as factory position without problems, and you can attach the standard sock via a bit of minor adjustment. GTR pump is also not bad and should support up to 'around' 250rwkw.. which is what I have just put in my car. You have to mess a bit with the socks there too but it works. Its just a bit older so there is a slight question over reliability. My thoughts.. if you want at or around 250rwkw.. don't stuff around with the 040, go straight for the 044.
  19. take an r32 for a drive.. you can say what you like, but take an r33 for a drive, and then the r32, and the fun factor is so much higher in R32.. I love driving it all the time. I'd never go back to an r33 after owning my 32.. 34 possibly but thats about it. If you like a modern car, get an R33.. If you like to work on your own car, buy an R32... then you can work in an rb25,etc for pretty cheaply yourself.
  20. would be good.. and SAU QLD could do with a motorsport co-ordinator
  21. yes, nearly all are louder. With more fuel in the tank they are a bit less noisy, as they are surrounded in fuel.. less echo
  22. walbro won't get you 300rwkw..
  23. I prefer verdana actually..
  24. wiring loom is different where it goes into the dash unit.. no solid info on here, do a search.. I believe you have to change the dash unit and have the loom.. oh and I think you'll need the temp sensor that sits on top of the dash. I have most of a spare climate control system for my r32.. but buggered if I can be bothered pulling apart the whole dash just to get some rice right at the moment
  25. do a search, masses of info on them in here..
