well those shots are kinda blury there.. so really doesn't show much..
but i always thought it didn't have that much looks wise over the Maxima sold here which I see quite a bit. They look a bit pedestrian in stock 4door guise true.. but no more than an R34 4door!
And they have a very nice interior, and like somebody said, I am sure they are one of the nicest skylines to drive day to day. Its just not a sports sedan for this model.
Thing is it wasn't Grosn, or anything else, it was a matter of saving money and everything else. Why waste hundreds of millions of dollars on investigating new turbo technology when the company is struggling, and even its base models are finding it hard to compete? That could have meant the end of Nissan altogether. There was no choice available to them.
And those constantly bitching, can't say they are the ones in the position to be buying a brand new Nissan anyhow - so you are really not in the picture according to Nissan and its job of well, selling NEW cars.
Best to shelve it for a while, come back to it in a couple of years with a fresh perspective and with new technologies and ideas available to draw upon. And that is exactly what they appear to be doing. So I don't fault them on that.
If Nissan goes and produces some more awesome road tearing sports cars, with say the GTR and things 2-5 years in the future, I think everybody might have a different perspective on the management of Nissan of today.
