  4. sent u an email
  5. well those shots are kinda blury there.. so really doesn't show much.. but i always thought it didn't have that much looks wise over the Maxima sold here which I see quite a bit. They look a bit pedestrian in stock 4door guise true.. but no more than an R34 4door! And they have a very nice interior, and like somebody said, I am sure they are one of the nicest skylines to drive day to day. Its just not a sports sedan for this model. Thing is it wasn't Grosn, or anything else, it was a matter of saving money and everything else. Why waste hundreds of millions of dollars on investigating new turbo technology when the company is struggling, and even its base models are finding it hard to compete? That could have meant the end of Nissan altogether. There was no choice available to them. And those constantly bitching, can't say they are the ones in the position to be buying a brand new Nissan anyhow - so you are really not in the picture according to Nissan and its job of well, selling NEW cars. Best to shelve it for a while, come back to it in a couple of years with a fresh perspective and with new technologies and ideas available to draw upon. And that is exactly what they appear to be doing. So I don't fault them on that. If Nissan goes and produces some more awesome road tearing sports cars, with say the GTR and things 2-5 years in the future, I think everybody might have a different perspective on the management of Nissan of today.
  6. rofl.. welcome to the club.. always notice why so many BOV's up forsale on the forums? I tried a Blitz for a few weeks... Sounded ok at first and then it was just overdone and 'boy this is stupid - its embarrasing to have this thing on here' . People give it a try, novelty wears off and then its just an extra defect for you most of the time.
  7. most pads are a bit dusty, but some are worse than others.. So its not always something you can totally avoid. For some budget suspension, you could look at maybe some KYB shocks and some King Springs.. you may save a few hundred over the Bilstein and Whiteline combo. I've heard some reasonable things about them in other cars. Thats if you want brand new of course. Definitely stay away from the pedders or anything like that to try and make sports combos. I am sure they do their research and things to *try* and offer a decent product, but in the end their key criteria is final cost to the consumer and that generally means lower grade materials, etc.
  8. im out, picked up a cheap heavy duty for my r32 for $85
  9. congrats Ni and Josie! cuckoo.. ahh, that was just up the road from where I used to live in melb for 2x years.. did you serenade her with an accordian and some ni slapping? (boy i'm funny)
  10. on your p's .. don't bother buying one.. simple. is it really worth the pain of having to sell it when you get caught?
  11. yes, yes they do.. vs
  12. not necessarily.. it will just be more obvious when at idle.. I know mine went a bit smoother at idle after tightening them.
  13. gtr rears won't fit.. useless too you.
  14. I wouldn't say the gcg ones looked that good... about 1/3 the thickness of the genuine nissan copper ones. Its almost paper thin. I bought one and never bothered using it when I compared it to the proper nissan one... even if it was 100k old..
  15. my azenis rt215 have been on for 10 months.. still probably got another 10 them.. they're not too bad for wear as people make out.. I think semi slicks should be mandatory on all cars
  16. ...may as well use tinfoil
  17. unfortunately postage would be a bit of a bitch on the catback part of it.. I would have to busfreight it or something - wouldn't 't be the easiest (or cheapest) but its possible if you are desparate. I paid $100 for my GTR pump.. a few go around for that. The cheapest new one would be about $200 (and I advise against a walbro)
  18. engine mounts seem to become very easily lose on the rb20.. mine were finger tight.. worth a check.
  19. yup, you can ignore them, they are for other vehicles.. I think I mentioned that in the guide somewhere
  20. I got one, but on the goldcoast in QLD.. let me know if you're in QLD
  21. Blankies?
  22. any update on the Whiteline springs on this one? been many weeks now?
  23. I think you are wrong about pricing from japan then again, some seem to say that anything under $30k landed from japan is rubbish.. I can't believe they all are.
  24. no waves, not too many sand beaches, bit mud flatty.. etc Anyhow, this is in general terms from my travels to those sorts of areas now and then. Really you'd need to check it out for yourself.. just don't be expecting miles of pristine beaches or clear water like you find on the goldcoast, or further up north.
  25. you can still get close to river front for $400k.. thats where the good money will be. While you say 'close to the beaches' gtst.. the beaches up north of the city (redcliffe ,etc) , or south in manly, wellington point, etc are not really great swimming beaches or anything..
