  1. v35 rims with 4x tyres with 90% tread.. no gutter rash.. excellent condition. $500. Good for r33 or r34.. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=176495
  2. V35 rims off what I think is an V35 coupe. Front: 7.5" Offset: 33 Rear: 8", Offset: 30 Tyres on rear are 215/55 Nanganks. Front are 245/45 BF Goodrich (cost me $220 each new). Tread wear is about 95% even throughout As you can see, they fill the guards fairly well on an R32. To be honest, I reckon they might look more suited on a more modern car such as R33 or R34. Nice solid wheels in VGC, with no gutter rash Nice cheap way to get a unique look for your Skyline, and don't think I have seen these on another r32/r33/r34 yet. Price: $500 not negotiable, pickup only Note on R32 - I don't recommend keeping the high profile 215/55 rear tyres if your skyline is lowered more than 30mm as they will scrub if you drive hard. R33 or r34 should be not an issue.
  3. yeah.. post 30 seems old, but people keep telling me I'm not that old so got a while to go.. haha, I don't even know whether i should be responding to a commodore owner! Yup, well and truly abandoned VIC. Come back now and then, got a few things to attend down there, but only a few days here and there.
  4. Price drop to around $829 for the PS3 to be announced this Thursday apparently
  5. Ahhh.. cool.. I'm moving back to Brisbane sometime next year. Going to buy a place. Need contacts. Ha. Got an r32.. I bought mine late 2004 I think, been 2 1/2 years for me.. Don't drive it much though, once a week if you're lucky. Just drive the Lexus each day instead.
  6. hey mm2death, I remember you! good to see you still have the 32.. people that actually hold onto their skylines for more than 2 years are a rare breed these days. hey nismo-bitch.. u have a job yet? is it in realestate? hey, speaking of which, I fixed those guys LED's.. nothing wrong with them at all, reversed the polarity and all working.. Installer at Goldcoast Carsound was full of shit. "Faulty LED's - been doing this for 20 years".
  7. That's what you get for f**king up production and rushing to market you mean 3 year warranty is nice though.. Apparently if you get a towel or the like and wrap the 360, the heat can cause the dodgy joints to refuse and it may work again. Seemed to have worked for a few people. Mines fine though, I never seem to have the same problem with electronics other people do?
  8. Wouldn't your biggest problem be getting the center diff to fit into the floorpan?
  9. Previous date has always been mid-2008 for Japan.. We've always received Gran Turismo 6-12 months after that. I would say it won't be that long this time around, but I'd say late 2008 IF WE'RE LUCKY to hit the holiday season.. more likely into 2009. Could be up to 2 years away.. Crash damage offending manufacturers is b.s. - as Forza 2 has it? it's a good gameplay feature, and stops you just deliberately bashing off walls and opposition to cheat. It will be sorely missed from Gran Turismo IMO.
  10. aww, shucks.. yes, it was! the cake i got was better than that one though Col Still got the 32.. still all fine, just sits there most of the time though. Needs a wheel alignment before I can drive it atm since I ripped out the hicas it's vibraty as all hell. Going to move back to Brisbane next year, sick of being back of beyond as well..
  11. rofl. I believe you got ARISTO'ed..
  12. Received mine today.. thanks Pablo..
  13. you mean like this thread here egghead? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...view=getnewpost
  14. lame.. what they forget is half the time blokes do stupid shit in front of chicks *to piss them off* I can imagine a whole bunch of blokes going to flop their chop out after doing a burnout too, just to prove a point
  15. said it's going to be movies only.. I don't think storage is a problem.. PS1 always had 4x disc games, etc near the end of it's life.. They can always decompress a few gig of stuff onto the HDD, and then just load movies, etc off the disc. Just requires some intelligence from the developers.
  16. I always try and push on everything at different points while it's rattling.. see if I can narrow it down to the bit of plastic, panel, etc that is moving around. Often it's just a screw undone.. After I've found it I'll shove a bit of folded paper in there, or obviously replace the screw.. generally I'm pretty successful at getting rid of them on most of the cars I've had.
  17. ahhh... schools out.. the fun begins!
  18. Practically every friggin vehicle on the road has 'coilovers'.. that is a spring over a shock absorber.. so the rule doesn't make any sense, and I doubt it's being interpreted here the correct way. I am sure the main thing they want to stop is dodgy ebay 'coilover' systems being sold here, which are pieces of crap and may be dangerous. Probably not so stupid. The key part is the last two.. I'm sure most of them out there have been passed to various applicable Euro or US standards. Even if not, black paint would do wonders..
  19. People can always buy locally if they want better service? costs you more, but time is money.. From my experience, have to expect a 2 month lead on parts from the likes of nengun. Anything quicker is a bonus.
  20. I'd probably remove the whole system by looping up near the battery and save about 15kg I removed it all this weekend and installed your bar. You can find further information on the process (with pics).. here: http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/locking...13-t185697.html and here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=93183
  21. Many parts are off top of head coilpacks, brakes, complete front end panels (these generally require all the supporting parts though.. like GTR indicators for GTR guards, etc), aircon & climate control, stock rims, fuel pump, dash, seats, pretty much most of the interior, starter motor, windscreen, taillights.. That's probably about it actually.
  22. go for it.. actually I just gotta fix that one with the tierod.. as it says 12mm, and now I remember, its 17mm..
  23. Bump as this is a good thread.. and the ns link is probably the best btw.. Just did this on my GTS-t over the weekend.. Seems to be ok, but needs a wheel alignment badly now so bit hard to tell the final result. Here are a bunch of pics I took to help anybody along, and everybody seems to suck at the pictures (macro-focus button people!). Note that this is an R32 GTS-T, which obviously will look a bit different to the GTR, but the process will be the same. My tips are, make sure you remove the battery, use a drip tray and you can get away with not making any mess at all, and remove the piping near the gearbox slave cylinder first by undoing the 2x pipes where they have a screw point. Remove back up to there, let fluid drain out, then remove front part of system. Some people seem to have chopped the return way back near the power steering pump - not quite sure why you'd want to do that, as to me metal pipe > rubber hose.. and you can just then use a shorter piece of hose up near the battery end, which can easily be replaced if it perishes later on. I like the fact that there is just less crap on the car now, and as you can see there is a lot of crap in the system. Also makes it much easier to reach the oil filter and a few other things too. Weight is around 15kg saved. It is actually fairly time consuming. I'd set aside a full day unless you have done it before.
  24. Anybody know the price for a GTR reinforcement bar for R32 GTR from Nissan? I know I should really just ask nissan, but I'm lazy and in no hurry thanks,
