  1. this is super secret backup .. i swear the other one wasn't viewable at 8am this morning!
  2. the rims on the closer GTR look tougher personally.. *shrug*
  3. Yeah, i have a buckled wheel as well.. Get shakes at above 110km/hr.. Below that its not really notieable.. thankfully i just have to track down a spare stocker. Wasn't until I took it to a wheel place to get tyres fitted and they said "mate, your LHS front rim is seriously buckled - we can't balance it" The tyres shouldn't effect it I wouldn't think on a spinner.. you should be able to see if its the actual rim or the tyre that is wobbling. If its buckled, and not a crack or something, I'd just be trying to find one of that wheel.. Otherwise, sorry to say, maybe cut the losses, sell 2x as a pair, and buy a new set. That is not correct.. MY rim appears visually fine, yet is clearly buckled when on the spinner.. And I've had two sets of tyres on it, so its not the tyres either.
  4. GTR rims are more of a bronze colour I guess you'd call it. GTR rims are also lighter? .. they also are worth 4x as much
  5. I think they maybe look a bit too modern for the older r32. Amaru - don't you have scrub issues on the front during high speed cornering on mountain/etc roads? although mind you, you are in rather flat canberra
  6. will is happy.. he still has bannanaman to play with..
  7. I have an rb26de apparently
  8. hmm..my eyes hurt
  9. all i can say to start this mess off is.. told ya!!
  10. hey Cailan.. my mate has got a clean, nicely working black R33 vpsec he is selling in next month or two as he is sick of driving it once or twice a week (literally).. its got basic mods such as zorst, boost controller, and cam gears.. he wants low $30's for it... best value R33 GTR around.
  11. Would be surprised if they didn't sell the R33 ones as well? Aren't the R33 the same as GTR with the push type? I had a GTR/GTS4 one the other week (bolts on the bottom) and sold it - could have done a straight swap if it was Yeah, I still need a clutch fork.. do you have one?
  12. in person? whats that? I was going to suggest just getting one off shy180 or gr33dy... as they are not dodgy traders, and the pump is backed by a australian warranty from shy180. Otherwise you're going to find the prices $100 more than that just walking into a shop... Repco can get them.. (if you say Bosch 040 they probably won't know what you are talking about - give them a full part number.. 040 is just the last 3 digits)
  13. you shouldn't loose boost just with a FMIC boost unless something weird is going wrong.. I have a feeling your hose clamps have worked loose over time.
  14. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...=slave+cylinder lol - let me know how you go, as I am after a new one also.
  15. you are also warned not too make them too over the top and gay.. I give you examples: BZZZTTT! .... possibly acceptable.. then again, your car!
  16. thats nasty!! Have to be genuine nissan pads? nice on the compliance price though.. Makes you wonder why everybody rushed on those 89 GTR. Should import a couple of newer ones and make a tidy profit there zymotic
  17. oh you mean the infinitely weaker.. and ricey look.. nope sorry, don't have..
  18. second notch on all 4.. 20mm down.. i measured again - it's 355mm front.. 345mm rear.. fairly close. Here is a side pic.. the lowering is fairly subtle.. but with some 17" rims would sit nicely..
  19. u could be in luck.. i have about 30cm of 3" .. could do wit a 3" to 2.5" to tidy up one bit of my engine bay.. .
  20. skyline non turbo is still the best value car under $15k ..with regard to features, looks, reliability
  21. just look at jspec list and change the dates.. you'll get a massive list..
  22. Starter motor is my bet.. give it a few taps with the hammer whilst trying to turn it over.
  23. ahhh... young young cyrus.. you think cops up here are bad :bahaha: you should go to hell (victoria) one day! its an entirely different world..
  24. Mine are 10mm, but I have something like 5-6 grooved in.. I found that top one was 'stock' R32 shock height.. anything below that lowered it below that (obviously) I basically figured "well I want to lower it about 2cm using the stock springs" and put it down two positions (20mm).. This gave me exact 350mm front and rear wheel to guard - stock R32 rims on my car with stock springs. That does seem work pretty well for me, with no uneven tyre wear spotted yet. I assume if you are going different springs (kings, whitelines, etc), the springs are already going to be that 2-3 cm lower. Therefore to maintain that 350mm you would have to put it back up that 2cm - is this right??
