well actually the "type-m" bar is more of a flat bar, if you look at it from the side.. example (i think) whereas the "non type-m" bar (or I think the earlier ones) slope in a lot more at the bottom, which is what causes the problems with the fmic fit. Do you see what I mean?

yeah.. would agree thats pretty dodgy car.. which would be knocked back.. I mean anybody with some knowledge, would not even bother .. but somebody trying to save some bucks, or with not knowledge of the import process may easily be taken in with something like that. Bit disappointing! as an example - my mate has a quite clean R33 Black GTR Vpsec which will be up forsale soon for about $33k.. This is *not* a dodgy car, and has been in the country for a few years.

Set of R32 manual pedals to suit manual conversion.. I've given them a rust treatment and quick undercoat as they needed it. may well fit cefiro also (not positive though).. Asking $50 + post (about $15 to most places in Oz)

Mine sits on about 60-70degrees during normal driving.. I am just going off my aftermarket gauge, so not sure how accurate that is.. but at least its not permanently stuck on half

mine i am pretty positive is genuine walbro.. and like above had the proper markings I am pretty sure.. when i get around to it 2nd time around, I am either going GTR pump or Bosch.. I thought giving the walbro was worth a try at a bit of a cheaper price, but don't think I would do it again.

diff stength I've heard is quite similar.. in fact the R32 clutch based diff one may be stronger than the viscous diff on the later R33 (edit: ok, maybe thats not correct). If you have an LSD, it should be the same as the one fitted to the turbo model. Depending on the cost, vs finding another one, I'd get your existing one rebuilt.

From what I see, usually the country workshops give *better* prices.

after 6 months mine died. Ended up end filter that was supplied with it ended up decaying, and sucking itself into the pump, until eventually it was pretty useless.. car would randomly stall, not start, etc. That is what I would say most likely caused the problem.. if not the pump just crapped itself. try and not use the stock filter. But others have had random failures with them..
