To stick with the format you got going there.... * Colin Mcrae Rally: this had to be buy far the most realistic rally game at the time... bloody brilliant.... *as mentioned before Gran Turismo 1 & 2: "the real driving simulator"... although that title is arguable... it's got my vote as the two most defining and just plain ol' fun games of PS1. *Demolition Derby: can you have anymore fun in a car??? mayheme and chaos smashing cars in a dib ring.... countless hours of fun *Gran theft Auto 1 & 2: although it had really poxy graphics with a top down view... boy was it fun getting chased by police and starting gang warfare just for the hell of it.... I also miss my lil old ps1... the fun we had together ........

at the moment i'm driving an imaculate 280ZX, looks brand spankin new... the missus knows I love my car and she's very careful about how she treats it. She understands my passion, plus she loves the ride

oh no dude, thats tragic.... hope no one was injured in that smash. the poor Z'd as well. were abouts did that happen, looks like a nice little drop from the road. Thats a shame.... oh well, the new one looks even meaner !!! big thumbs up.

:lol: dont beleive everything you here about Z'ds the rumors include that they are extremly expensive, they over heat etc etc.... ofcourse they cost abit to upkeep, but no more than a skyline. They were once $70k cars when new so insurance and parts can cost alittle but overall a well looked after Z will not have many problems..... btw speaking from experiance. love the ending at the nurb..... the intro was ok.... nothing special. i actualy prefered the intro for GT3 A-spec.

lol, 8 hours of sitting infront of ps2 is still more than a couple..... especially when every 10min or so you gotta put it back on to x3 speed. i agree it sucks how its constantly day light though...

lol, same dude. at about 30 something % but all i do is race the ring and get b-spec bob to earn me some cash occasionally so i can buy more cars...

you gonna do it in one sitting or take a few days to do it? i'm not willing to give it a go cause i'm afraid i might get sick of the Ring

to get the minolta you will need to do the El capitan enduro, it's only a "short" race and in that you can use most road going cars such as a zonda or RUF to decimate the competition.

I used the toyota minolta CV-88 (or sumifin like that), finished comfortably. 3x speed will get you done in well obviously 8 hours, but you have to man the controls for that cause the 3x speed turns off after every time the car pits... so your probably best to leave it for the 24 hours and go for a cruise or whatever....

A-spec points dont do shit... however there was a rumor that the drivers helmet changes colour (convertibles) after so many points. It's more of a braggin right thing, as well as a good gauge as to how difficult a race will be (maximum of 200points per race). B-spec bob however turns into a better driver, the more b-spec points you have. As for all the other points like battle etc.... no idea

Yeah all sections, so that i can race anywhere, eg. extreme hall, enduro etc... but i prefer to just run amuck on the ring, heaps of fun Anyhow, the F1 car isn't that fast down the straight, plenty of faster cars.... it's the corner speeds that are insane. most corners can be taken almost double the speed of any other car. I did notice that the F1 car sucks hard at the ring cause it keeps bottoming out...

don't bother burning it, it's marked down at most shops now adays anyway... shouldnt set you back more than $50. Jar, I've only bothered to unlock all the seckions and collect enough money to buy cars... i hit 30% a few months ago, i just love racing the ring

Nope, i ended up getting a router cause i've got two pc's networked now, so i tryed the easy way.... everything works fine accept for the software x-link, which dosn't want to recognise my ps2 for some reason. normal online gaming works fine on the playstation... so i'm not sure what i'm doing wrong and well i got a bit disintrested as i've been busy... but maybe someday i'll get off my ass and try again.

the b-spec driver pits automaticly when the tyre wear hits red so you get a tyre change and refuel at the same time.

yeah... there are 3 24hour races, 1 at the ring and 2 at sarathe... For the Nurburgring race i just used the toyota minolta cv-88 (i think thats it's name) and put it in B-spec.... came back to it 24hours later and had an extra $1.sumfin million plus a spanking new F1 car.... inark, what did you win??

not impressed by the new look, and well i actually didn't mind the "bug eye" look.... but the new one looks to much like a saab if you ask me....

the games discussion forum has a GT4 drift thread already.... but I should point out that the setup you have there, however good it maybe for some cars, it won't be good for all cars. each has there only slight adjustments that will make them better or worse handlers for drift....... here is a good sight with hundreds of diferent setups for everycar in the game.... some drift, some race or road setups.... check it out GTVault
