  1. i was thinking that there may be some sort of tool , like a pitman arme piller that could grab the lip on the bush and brace itself to the bottom and pull the bush up, would be alot easier and better for the arm , but havnt found anything yet

  5. need to get my front upper arm bushes replaced on my r32 gtr, now theres alot of kits out there whiteline, noltec, superpro etc ,some require that u remove the bush and the metal sleve out of the old arm ,which i have found no easy way to do ,and others just require u remove the rubber and mushroom crush tube, which is easy, but how effective would this be, especially of the inner shell is damaged. anyone know of any diy links that anyone has done these arms,or even a good method of removing the metal sleve thats in the arm (besides a vice and cold chisel )which some people have done.
  6. anyone used arms like these? what are they like for wear and noise etc?
  7. also looking at replacing my fron upper control arm bushes in my r32 gtr , with noltec or whiteline URETHANE BUSHES ,I notice that when installing these some people put a grease nipple into the arm, what is the benefit of that considering the oem ones dont have it?
  8. just wondering what holds the noltec bushes to the subframe i see thay have alip on the top, but doesnt look like there is one on the bottom, isnt it possible for the frame to slip down of the bush?
  9. im getting the subframe bushes replaced in my r32 gtr, by nissan, they said they are using whiteline ones, now from what i understand whiteline dont supply replacment ones only ,Sub-frame align & lock kits, which wont help cause my factory ones are leaking, or is there something im missing? ps. how many parts are there to the oem subframe bushes?

  18. yea its just the pump pressurising the transfer
  19. faulty g sensor under the center console behind the handbrake dude
  20. when the car is first turned on in the morning, the pump runs for about 6-9 seconds ,and switches off about 20 to 30 seconds later the pressure switch closes again running the pump for maybe 1 second till the switch opens again ,4wd light comes on the dash and disables the 4wd system, i have used the gtr workshop manual 4 the error code that flashes on the ets 18 flashes, computer and it says pressure switch problem, the switch that is closed when the pressure for the 4wd system is low, runs the pressure motor till the pressure opens the switch saying there is enough pressure in the system, now the problem is after the switch is opened initally it has to remain open for a certain amount of time to not cause and error if it closes which it does early on startup it causes this error,so either the switch is faulty closing too soon,or the system is loosing pressure too early causing the switch to close again, does anyone there know if the pressure switch is soley deactivated on pressure alone ,or if it has a sensor of some sort that tells it to open and close have rebleed system incase air in fluid was causing pressure drop making switch close again ,if i manually run the pump for a sec longer after the switch has opened, i dont get the error ,hence why i thing its a pressure problem ,maybe even the pump is loosing oomph and bareely opening the switch, have searched every skyline club thread, but noone seems to have had these symptoms,or any idea of cure,if someone has and fixed it please let me know ,cheers!
