Were they Midland cops? You could still make a complaint as everything should be on record (your rego number etc).

Advice Needed On Registering Car Being Bought Over From Nsw
MattyP replied to stolly's topic in Western Australia
Midland goes by appointments. Ring up licensing centre for temp moving permit. http://www.dpi.wa.gov.au/licensing/1213.asp : has all the answers -

Damn, news to me though just checked and saw this 'good behaviour period' as outlined here http://www.dpi.wa.gov.au/licensing/yourlicence/15639.asp I'd rather lose my license for 3 months, then get all my points back so I won't have to stress for 9 months. Considering the lack of TEGS on the road, you'd just be unlucky to be nabbed for driving without a license.
-
If you lose your license for 3 months, and gain any demerit points during that period(3 or 6 months typically depending on the offence. 3 months for general loss of licence, 6 months for reckless) then your suspension will double (so 6 to 12months etc).

Multinovas occassional do test shots to see if things are working accordingly. I got flashed for doing under 60 in a 60zone, I went back 5 minutes later and the guy was packing up the camera so I took out my camera and flashed him back a handful of times. lol. This was a few years ago at least.

If your mate is going to go in the Navy, tell him to wait. My cousin who was 19 at the time went into the army with a bug eye WRX, a month later of owning that he got a 350hp RB26 R32 GTS-4, then got (while with GTS-4) a VK SS Group A (which is his current bunky daily!!), then sold the 32 to get a 5ltr VT Clubbie which he put a twin turbo kit on, and then sold that to get a 500hp atw 32 GTR which is now sold and I have no clue as to what he's getting next. This was all in the space of one year!! You're always out to try and beat your fellow defence force pals. When I was selling my R I had this co-worker wanting to buy the car for her son. The reason 'to keep my son at home, as he wanted to move out of home and he is mad about Skylines'. Maybe he should try that trick on his dad, but then his ol man might want him out as well hahahaha.

When I bought my R from Qld I didn't fly over, but I paid a mechanic over there to look over the car and tell me of any faults that needed fixing up. These were then fixed at the time by the current owner, and all was sweet until I think 2-3 weeks later one of my hoses blew and ended up costing me about 1k to fix. I then ran into some other problems, but what do you expect with 10+ year old GTRs. I've looked at all those ads and didn't like the way No.5 puts how he'll have to change his price according to the YEN. We're not in Japan, we're in Australia where the entire car market is coming down and with that so are car prices. Anyway, I'd pick the black 34...because of its current mods, price (which you should be able to bring down) and also coz I'm after a black 34 GTR

There are two places now in WA that can tune HKS F-Cons...Xspeed and some mob up NOR in Wangara if I recall. I read an article I think in Perth Street Car where they were training up new workshops to tune it. If I can find the article I'll let you know the workshop.

Hoon plates - go here http://www.numberplate.australia.ms/ I'm actually going to try and get the 'HOON' plates as my grandpa's name is actually Hoon

In the very early days I heard the the Hoon Laws started off with a warning, with the next offence having the car impounded. But I know personally, considering my car was impounded on its first reckless driving / hoon law offence. Back when I got caught I wasn't made to pay any costs until proven guilty, however they have now changed this and you have to pay for the impound before you can drive away with your car. If I had one of those banners, I would have stolen it. Would have been a nice sun shade screen. btw, Kel wasn't convicted for her court case.

Invest in a keypad immobiliser alarm system, and have it hidden from view. That's what I had in my GTR. Even if theives broke in and took your keys, they won't be moving very far. The keypad was attached to my fuel pump, so you could start the car but it would stall a couple seconds later. When you do own performance cars such as GTRs, HSVs etc you really do need to put them in a locked up garage. I would never own a performance car if I knew I couldn't secure it properly. Jess, I would also tell the cops sfa about what you do, where you have been, other personal infomation etc Goes for anyone else here. Tell them to **** off and send you a summons if they want to start charging you with something.

Here are just a couple of shots from my second last shoot with the GTR, before the new owner takes the keys tomorrow night. Doing one more shoot tonight, so will post some more later on.

Cheers. Just went to try my Pulsar and saw how they got off.. Just needed a bit more elbow grease lol. Didn't want to break them lol

I thought this was an easy job, but totally stumped. Took off the circular cap to the wipers, and found nothing to help take off the wipers. Seems joined to the motor mechanism below :S Does anyone know how to get it off, or will I just have to paint them while they're on the car? *for a 33 GTR* Cheers

If you're running low on points, or cbf losing the 6 points fight the fine in court. You will probably pay a bit more than the fine you were given when they find you guilty ($450-600 + court costs), however I'm very sure you don't lose any points as your traffic infrindgement becomes a traffic conviction.

Was it a light blue N15 by any chance?

Just then I got pulled over the for the first time ever in the GTR since my H.L incident on Marmion St, near Meville Bowls. Officer comes to the window with a breathalizer, Officer: Do you know why we pulled you over Me: 'I dunno. I wasn't speeding...Because you felt like it??' (I was going to say coz I drive a Skyline but meh) Officer: 'No, because you were revving the shit out of your car' Me: 'WTF, revving the shit?!' (@ 10:45pm close to residential area) Officer: 'Well we heard you half way down the street. I think its time for a yellow sticker' I give officer my licence and he walks off. I get my good ol pen and pad ready to go ape shit on his arse like the cops last time (forgot to bring SD card for camera), however I decided to wait for him to speak first just incase he wasn't a flamin mongrel (though accussing me of something I didn't do already put him in that books pretty much like the Cannington coppers before). Officer returns with his female partner in toe... Officer: 'Well it's your lucky day, we have better things to do' (What happend to yellow sticker time? Did it suddenly end? Or is it that maybe in the police records it shows a crazy asian will end up recording you and make you look like an arse on You Tube, ruin your reputation & have the video on head of traffic's Wally Brieley's desk on Monday morning) Me: 'Well the car is street legal anyway mate' Officer: 'How am I suppose to know, I'm not a mechanic' (which then leaves the question, how can you yellow sticker a car if you don't know what you're doing) *Female Officer starts flashing torch at tyres and boost controller display* Me: Alright, good night. For those wondering, it seems taking your car to as high as 2,500 rpm equates to 'revving the shit out of your car'. I wasn't speeding or breaking any law what so ever. Would have made a good video if I had remembered my SD card. I think it was the cops lucky day imo. Look forward to my next encounter

Top shots man. Do you mind if I use some of your shots on my FB Stephen, and watermark them with your website and name of course? Plus I'm also interested in buying the file / or enlarged photo of the R smoking it up. GTR loves launches and I love losing control just for everyone's enjoyment lol This round of AHG I definetly improved from the last time. Very keen for another.
