  3. Hey, got a question. Say I'm slowing down and I'm gonna select a lower gear, if give it a boot full to match the revs with the lower gear it can hesitate or feel sluggish with the clutch in free reving. I have a lightened flywheel aswell so it should respond to my commands quicker than stock. Vacume leak? Dirty afm? Tune?
  4. Hello. I'm setting up a r33 4 door I'm gona be using 18x9.5 with 225 40 all round I'm not sure what offset to use. My settings will be 0 camber rear and -3 front (Also) my front lower controll arm is pushed out 20mm for my drift steerin lock needs. I'm looking for flush or 10mm poke all round One other thing to think about is I would like the same off set all round so I can rotate at track days when my tyres are getting low. Any ideas? +22?

  9. Thank u very much. I've got all the gear but no instructions. I'm running turbosmart external with top and bottom ports. And I'm pretty sure this is the setup for me. So just to reiterate on the setup above. Port 1 nc Port 2 com Port 3 no My boost controller is switched off in my datalogit/hand controller settings. How can I test if I've hooked it up properly? My car is untuned but my afrs are rich when I give it boost and there's no knock. I have 14psi spring but I've seen 17
  10. Rite. I haven't read threw posts. But I have an rb25det, 6boost top mount, t67, 3 inch, no cat, resinator, 3.5 inch then jazma muffler. Now. I've heard rbs with china manifolds an 3 inch exhaust sound better. Mine sounds deep and droney when it's not on boost. I don't like it. I want this unique sound I've heard before, it's raw and almost raspy. I'm guessing it's my Rez and muffler. I don't want it any louder. If anything I'd like it a lil quieter but there's a special sound I'm chasing off boost. Can anyone help?

  14. Helo. Quick question. If I have a q45afm and power fc. How come my car runs a lot nicer when I select r33afm in settings,Apart from the lite popping at idle. When I select q45 it runs like shit, there's too much fuel everywhere idle and boost. The only plus side is it has a lot smoother idle although richer 11.0. All this is the same if I load a previous owners tune or if I load a sample map or even if I data init.
  15. I have thort of that but I don't want the boys at the exhaust shop to have the hassle of pulling and pushing the car. It's a headache for anyone and also it's less than 1km from my house.
  16. Hello, r33 25det, was running good enough. Brought 550 injectors q45afm and power fc then installed. They were from a bloke who said it was tuned 300kw. I also installed t67 and 6boost so I have to get to the exhaust shop and have the car mobile so they can weld the new exhaust. My problem is when I start the car it sounds rough, it hesitates when I give it has and sounds like its 5 cylinders. I haven installed the 02 sensor yet so that might help an the the timing sais 24degreese when it's idling at 650 revs an it's spose to be 15 right? I'd like it to be atleast drivable befor i take it to be retuned. I've spent a year on my engine bay now it's getting to me. I just want to hear that sweet rb sound again can anyone give me clues?
  17. Hello. I have converted my s2 r33 sedan from auto to manual. Still has auto diff in. I don't want to change the gearing. I still have the auto dash. Everything is working fine except the speedo reads about 120 when I'm doing 100kph. I've searched for solutions but I can't find an answer. This conversion would have been done a million times. Does anyone have any ideas. And will this affect my power fc when I get it tuned?
  18. took the rubber of the cap and it fits but now theres steel on steel, is that ok? i dont know how the injector works.
  19. i might have jumped the gun here. aparently they do bolt in. they dont plug in but thats ok. what about the cap that goes over the factory unit. do i need one cause that doesnt fit.
  20. R33 power fc, hand controller, nismo 550cc, z32 afm. 1100 bux. Nice. With my t67 044 and 6boost I'll get 300kw. First of all it's a q45 afm. Already brought z32 plug. Anyway I'll deal with that by taking my r33 s2 plug apart and directly plugging the wires to the afm and heat shrink to protect. Oh yeh an I'll buy the bigger piping to suit. What ever. My problem is he has given me denso 195500-2240 injectors. I assumed being nismo 550 would bolt in and plug in. Just like the afm I was wrong. I don't even think they're nismo. They fit in my rail but don't seat, too long, they don't plug in nor do the retainer caps bolt on. Can anyone help me?
