  1. After a quick look in the market, I have reduced the price down to $9000 for SAU members. Rego until 21st Dec 2017. Look in the add link below for more details. This is the add in gumtree https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/blacktown/cars-vans-utes/skyline-v35-gt-350-premium-2003/1158320148
  2. Skyline V35 2003 GT 350 Premium for SALE Hi mates, With much regret I am selling my 2003 Skyline V35 premium coupe. I am the first owner in Australia and imported in via Top Secret Imports back in 2014 with genuine KMs. Its pearl white in color, with sports premium pack - 18" alloys Nissan alloys, BOSE stereo, TV screen, leather and suede seats. I have also installed 3M tint all over windows, car alarm and Bluetooth integration Grom unit. The car came with Fujitsubu Legalis R cat back exhausts, which sounds absolutely awesome. Everything else is STOCK. KMS: 97000km (genuine with all import documents) Rego: till 20th Dec 2016 Always services at Top Secret Imports and last 2 years at Powertine. All service history available. I am buying a more practically baby friendly family car and that is why I need to sell this ASAP. I will upload photos soon, but just wanted to check in the forum for any potential buys before I go to the dealer to see trade-in value. Excepted price $11,500 Thanks, Saif 0430497647
  3. Hey Paul, where did you get your software conversion done from?
  4. Thanks AsM. I also had a puncture on my front right tyre so had to replace with a brand new Sumitomo HTR Z3 tyre and the front left is still the old Potenza which is balding and hasn't got much tread left. Same with my rear tyres (Potenza) which are balding also. So I wonder if that could also be making that sound? Either way, I guess it worth having the bearings inspected sooner than later. Too bad im goin on holidays next month, didn't wana spend any more money
  5. Hey Sikahalv, so did you figure out what was causing that sound in your car? Did you have to change the wheel bearings? I get the exact sound too, but its very subtle and i used to think its normal until I started reading this thread.
  6. Hi mate, would you mind mentioning how much it cost you? I am having the same issue, as Im getting that noise from one of my rear wheels. Initially I thought, its just the wind beating against the car body or tyre noise until I started reading these posts. I would like to know how much could it possibly cost be if I have to replace any of my rear wheel bearings? And also, a tyre place like Bob Jane or Jax Tyres would be able to do it ?
  7. Hey mate, did you end up finding the reason for that whirring noise???
  8. I also have that 'whirring..propeller like noise" and it increases with the speed of the car. I thought maybe its just the sound of the air beating through the wheels due to aerodynamics. Did anyone figure-out what that sound is coming from? Could it also be due to a wheel alignment?
  9. Hi Scuttee - thanks for your feedback. I'll order from the UK store which says CDC. Did you set it up yourself? I'm not that great with stereo installations and am time constrained so I'll take it to a technician. By the way when you ordered yours from the UK store, did you choose Nissan 350z as the car model?
  10. Hi Scuttee, I am trying to buy the grom unit for my 2003 V35 premium coupe. Before I order one online, I wanted to ensure that I am ordering the correct one. Is this the one that you have on your V35? BT3. http://www.gromaudio.com/store/bt3_adapters/nissan_infiniti_aux-in_mp3_bluetooth_ipod_iphone_adapter_-_sat_emulation.html Also, what is the CDC Niso2 cable? Do I need to buy that as well? By reading from the previous posts, I understand that once I receive my Grom unit, I will need to do a firmware update with version 28. Any help will be greatly appreciated!! Cheers
  11. The steering 'snapping straight' issue now makes sense. I was more worried about it than the tight steering, because I only feel the tight steering when I'm parking but during driving it feels just normal. I'm pretty sure my car has stock height and I guess stock springs too. To be honest I can't tell what negative angle the cambers are (my claim might have been too extravagant when i said -2 degrees), but I can see all the 4 tyres becoming bald on the inner edge where middle and outer sides are still quite new. Would stock alignment also case the tyres to bald on the inner edge? I want to re-align all wheels to stock specifications and then see how the steering is then. Can anyone tell me from where can I find the stock wheel alignment specifications?
  12. lol,,,,I agree. I didnt even want warranty when I got the car. I previously had a bad experience with my Accord which also had a used car warranty from NWC. My transmission got stuffed and it didn't cover a dime. Had to pay $3000 out of pocket to get that fixed. During test drive I mentioned about the tight steering and they said it was due to the negative angled cambers and also the thickness of the tyres (as I was comparing it to my accord and hyundai). But once I started reading this thread other questions popped into my head about steering pump or rod bush going bad. Just want to be on the safer side and get things diagnosed in advance. Now Im even considering whether I even need to have negative cambers. I would be better off with all wheels balanced and aligned. Do you know if the cambers come angled like this from stock? I just want them to the OEM specifications.
  13. Thanks Scotty. I don't really go racing just drive around normal. I wanted to re-align the wheels (also to stop the tyres from being eaten away on the inner edge) but the guy who imported the car for me told me to keep it as it is and I may ruin it if I try to get them all aligned at a normal tyre shop. I have checked the power steering fluid, it was topped 3 months ago during service and there is no leak. I might need to get the rod bushes checked, as I have 1 year warranty on the car.
