I've just recently bought a rb25det that ive just gotten running. It's got me stumped on a noise in the motor, it's a slight knocking noise only on idle and when it's fully warmed up but as soon as you touch the throttle it goes away. The noise it in the rear of the motor. Oil pressure sits on about 32psi warmed up on idle and goes up to around 80psi when you rev it. The motor was imported from Japan in a half cut, it has 86000 ks that's all log booked. It sounds like bottom end knock but I'm unsure because of the symptoms. Any help from more experienced people with rbs would be great?

Hi guys This might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I'm just about to start on a rb25det manual conversion into a vs commodore ute. I'm just wondering if anyone has done this conversion on here? I'm wanting to know what specific parts were used, like gear box mount, was a custom gearbox crossmember made? Which sump? Vl k frame etc Thanks in advance Taylor

With the BC coil overs in the rear end, were they a different length to std skyline? An who did you get them through?

Nice project, I'm doing the same thing to my torana in the rear end, just wondering could I use r34 rear sub frame? Or which model sub frame is ideal? Thanks
