    Coil pack on it's way out. They play up when they get hot, as yours is doing after the engine bay gets some heat in it. That also explains why the car runs fine for you the next morning, when your car has been left to sit and cool down for hours.

    Take the switch out, and instead of just spraying it with WD40, pull it apart, get some sandpaper and clean the gunk off the contacts. It's not hard to do.

    I'm certain it'll just be a dead coil pack. Don't waste your time checking other suggestions.

    Nope, not necessary unless you ran your old clutch to the ground, and damaged the flywheel face. I'm using an Exedy cushion button too. It seems to be a good thing, is heavy, but you get used to it. (Always funny watching other people trying to drive my car though!)
