HEY! I've seen all the proven performance that the SAFC gives to turbo cars, but would it be able to give performance like this to N/A cars too? I've got a Rb30e (R31 engine) with minor mods and there's shitloads of hype about the SAFC but no one has used it on a N/A application??? Is there a reason for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Tim

Yea you are hearing right. 11 second quarters (any day of week), 323rwkw, 12k. DEFECTED though. Ideal for a conversion, R31 or VL, gemini even. It's currently in a MR30 skyline. Wheelspin in a turbo car is done on boost, with sidesteppage of the clutch at say 5k? Just 2 get you started! Take it 2 5k, and take ur foot off the clutch really fast. You'll be spinnin in no time : )

Was a pretty wicked cruise. The R31 did better than I thought it would, I need way bigger brakes though!!!!! Mine are a disgrace! Tuff GTR munro. I was thinkn you'd be slow in the hills because I didn't think you'd be able to drive it on boost but you were outta sight in the blink of an eye!!!! Whats happening tonight everyone? Those power figures are pretty close to right I think. A few kw out maybe, nothing to cry about. The 6port head of the ECCS rb20 flows shitloads better than the 12port of the NICS version. I think the problem with the nics is not so much the flow capabilities but the way the computer was mapped from the factory.

I gather your race one is a GTSR? In stock form I've seen them (in adelaide) from 12k to 18k. Depending on whether it can be driven on the road or not will alter it's value i suppose. A GTSX usually ranges from 8500 to 11000 from what i"ve seen.

Munro. How did you're car compare to dougs when you old the turbo setup that was running 11.10? I've seen his car in a magazine somewhere but haven't seen any power figures or 1/4 mile times. Can you expand on the important stuff the magazines left out regarding doug's car?

Dont bother with the autospoiler. There's a guy here in adelaide with who makes moulds of the GTS-R wrap around spoiler if you're interested. They're $300 but EXTREMELY rare! Freight to brissy is $80 i think. I can pm you with details if you're interested! Tim

Hey. There's a dude here in adelaide with a R32 GTR cooler in his 31 wagon. It's a S3 and he's had the front bar modified 2 suit it. The ducts have been shortened and the cooler sits a couple of inches from the very front of the bar. It's a very very tight fit but it can be done. Thats all i know at this stage Lata

For the record the VL driver was doing 140 and the r32 was stationary at the lights. Who in their right mind does that kind of speed.....in the suburbs? :eek: Can't help but feel sorry for someone else's stupidity... Learning the hard way must suck! he's gonna get pretty well anally reamed!
