done, fini, fixed.
turned out to be the IAC not the AAC.
i took it to a import spare parts dude and he said u sure its the AAC?
"umm...think so"
so i switch the motor on and he blocked the hose going to the IAC and
the idle dropped to around 700. so he gives me a second hand IAC ($55)
neways, i get home, pull the IAC off and it turns out they're different , must
have given me the one off the NICS RB20.
neway, i pulled apart the original (took an impact driver to do it 4 little philips head screws *&en tight) and there's a little spring about 3mm long (a contraction spring) i reconnected it, put the whole
lot back together...
...problem solved. idles around 700 now.
p.s. bit of a pain in the ass job...at least it's done
