Rumours state that the new GT-R's will be locally available in AUS.. Which means that if you find a Japan version that is fully modded that is a fraction of the price, under current laws you wouldn't be able to import it.

The 'kick' that most people feel once their car reaches 5000rpm is the factory boost controller changing to a higher boost pressure. Between 3000-5000rpm the turbo is running about 5-6psi, after 5000(or 4500rpm on my car) the boost will change to 8-10psi. The factory nissan boost controller that is on the 33 has 2 settings, depending on RPM.

I saw two R32's on the Central Coast on Tuesday night heading toward Mingara, Both had AUTOSTYLE stickers on the sides, both had personalised plates, but I cant remember what they said. Perhaps UR..... something...

Well think of it this way.... You approach a right hand corner at 60Kms', You slow down and start to turn your steering wheel to the right, In a neutral steer situation (no under or over steer), as you turn the steering wheel the car would follow the path of the front wheels and you would go into corner and exit normally. With understeer, the car doesn't follow the direction of the front tyres and continues to go straight ahead or there might be a delay in turning. From a driver's point of view, you would turn the wheel and it feels like nothing is happening because the car is still going straigh ahead. Hope that helps, I may have just confused you more =)

I cant remember if it was discpads, but I recently enquired about upgrading the rotor on my R33, I'm sure it was Discpads. I'll check tonight and let you know, perhaps e-mail them or call them and find out.

You'd be pretty hard pressed to find a mechanic style place open on a Sunday.... Every place I go to is only open half day saturday... and if they are open Sunday's there's no mechanical work going on, just sales... But i'd be keen to have a sunday place on reference just in case you know... =)

I seriously hate the whole 'car enthusiasts' tag and the way it is ALWAYS negativly used, by the media and the stupid idiots that cause this heat to be put down on people like us. The name itself suggest a sense of respect for the machinery that we drive, plus with that respect comes a certain degree of following the road rules, (hey, we all cant be perfect). But what really gets me is that these....(and I'm about to use a clique here) 'hoons' try to pass themselves off as enthusiasts..... Really they are bored, stupid, immature little s***s who have no respect for the car that they drive, other people on the road and just general public order. They all seem to have an inferiority complex about the 'true' car enthusiast.... IF that event in Terrigal was really about car enthusiasts then it would have turned into a mini car show, becuase most people there would have attended to enjoy a nice trip up to a senic place and talk to a few people about a common interest and possibly make a few new friends in the process..... ----- Well sorry to ramble on, but I felt like I needed to get that off my chest..... That's fantastic news..... A friend of mine bought a 300ZX couple of months ago and was seriously pissed when the rule changed... He's been spending the past couple of weeks trying to find some loophole to allow him to get the car in before September 2004 (it was made in Sep 89), and it now looks like that DOTARS has finally woken up or employed a car enthusiast who set them straight. So I'd like to raise a charged glass to all those people who were set to be s**ewed by the rule change and say.... CHEERS!!!

Well apparently, my left rear is completley stuffed to the point where if you go over a small bump, the rear end of the car just wants to go out sideways. But all are stuffed.... The fronts are unbalanced so one is working better than the other. I'm looking for a full set, cause I dont want to replace just one..... I'm looking at the Bilstein shocks, but still waiting to get a price for them. Thanks for the offer though....

Does the numbers go by car or by driver. Cause I have a few friends that want to come but they'd be driving my car.

Hey everyone. I've got my GTS-t sitting on a set of Tanabe shocks. I've since found out that they are stuffed and need replacing. Does anyone know if they are able to be re-gassed or are they like a disposable camera. cheers.

I too have mine in the ash tray, and the cover still works so I can hide it whenever I want.
