That was the concept from about 3-4 years ago... They have 'refined' the concept since then. I use the term 'refined' VERY loosly.

If the car is sold locally by Nissan Australia then you wont be able to get it under SEVS... You cannot import cars that are sold locally in Australia.

When I tried to get a car loan from a bank, the minute I mentioned Skyline they recoiled 'oh, grey import, cant loan against that'. Unsecured personal loan is most likely your best bet.

My mate lives around the corner from where it happened and as he was going past he noted that it was a 180SX, the media also quoted it as being a 180ZX.

Rumour has it that it will be coming out in AUS, and it's been posted on here a couple of times that Nissan Australia has applied for a patent or trademark for the GT-R name. But, I guess we'll just have to wait until 2007...

usually if you've had something to drink within the last 15 minutes, they get you to wait for 20 or so minutes so your body can digest it. Otherwise they'll get a false reading because the alcohol will still be in your mouth.
