Looks like a stock rail with adapters i must say Interesting nonetheless!!

Yep, I looked into this and found the same results. GTT Seat rail bolt pattern is unique. That's not saying that you can't fit these seats, but they won't bolt in without modification.

Jordy's R34 Gtt
Jordy32 replied to Jordy32's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Small update! I know I've been quiet, but in reality, not a whole log has changed on the car. One thing I have changed however is the exhaust system. After becoming sick and tired of the drone I got a fabricator friend to get the car on the hoist and we took a look at the exhaust system to pinpoint things I could do to improve it. After taking it off and seeing a rusted out mid resonator as well as a more or less collapsed rear muffler which had turned into an echo chamber, the exhaust was a "write off". We cut out the resonator and welded another one in which was a cheap bandaid fix for a few months however I eventually bit the bullet and sent an email to jesse streeter in Japan to order my new exhaust, the HKS Silent Hi-Power, a full 3" stainless exhaust which really isn't silent at all, but that's absolutely fine, and it's a huge improvment over the droney mess I had before! Shiny! Aside from that, not a whole lot has changed, I'm just washing it regularly and driving it a lot which is a nice change really! Im hoping to get out the the Feb SAU NSW Cruise if anyone would like to say hello -

Bringing a GTT back to glory

Looks great, did you get the rear bumper from japan? -
Graphite OEM are fine, however you will need to replace them if you ever take off your manifold(s) or you can pay a little more an get a multi layer steel gasket which you can re-use. I would personally not use a cheap shitty gasket in that location as it's a pain in the ass to change if it gives out, so either Nissan OEM, or a known performance brand such as Tomei as listed in the posts above. Both will seal fine if assembled properly, neither will "seal more" or "leak less" it's a matter of personal preference really.

Lowering GTT Coupe / Coils & Springs
Jordy32 replied to MikeR34GTT's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
You can probably find a set of nismo S-tune shocks and springs for pretty cheap these days. I run them all round, low-ish, comfortable and stiff enough for twisty roads, you'll feel the limit of them at a track day though but it doesn't sound like that's what you're after so I'd add them to the list of options to consider. -
Looks great mate, welcome to the forum!

Did I install my pod filter correctly?
Jordy32 replied to spudtatoe's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Nothing screams defect me more than a bright blue pod filter cable tied up to a bracket.. lol.. - You'll probably want to cap off that line you took off up near the back of the inlet plenum, it'll be a vac leak and you might notice a high idle etc And keep your stock airbox, for when you do get defected you can get it cleared! -
The R34 GTV is basically a GTT with a non turbo engine. So treat is as that really.

Same thing Only difference is 2/4 door

If you do it well you most probably won't get caught, just don't act like an idiot to the police.
-
Just put in a Walbro 255lph pump and forget about it. Grab one of kudos for cheap. If you're not running enough fuel pressure you'll cook your engine and your stock clutch's life is getting shorter by the day. Personally, I would have replaced it when the engine was out and it was accessible but some people are suckers for punishment!

RB25 Drift Build Question's / Advice.
Jordy32 replied to elleskyline's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
My suggestion would be to sell off the high mount manifold and run a stock manifold with a hypergear turbo, all the other parts look pretty normal for a solid RB25. If you are planning on running the car hard (drifting, so yes) I would certianly suggest an oil cooler. Doesn't need to be huge, but make sure it's new and of good quality. As suggested, read through the Oil Control thread and ask any questions you may have as oil control is crucial to an Rb build. Good luck!- 4 replies

Review Cygnett Magnetic Vent Mount
Jordy32 replied to PranK's topic in General Automotive Discussion
I've been in the market for one of these actually! Looks good, might grab one for the 34! Thanks! -
Rocket Industries do one. Comes with a morosso sealed box, cables, connectors and a kill switch to get it all working. You can probably get it cheaper making it all yourself but if you want a simple kit to buy it's pretty good!
