Dropped Something In My Cooling System :/
Jordy32 replied to BlackBox's topic in General Maintenance
Probably wouldn't care too much either, but if the water pump is off just shove a hose in the top hole and blast it out the water pump hole -
Would You Consider A Yellow R34 Gtr?
Jordy32 replied to JRelle's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Pretty sure i know the one you're talking about Friend of a friend kinda thing, apparently it's immaculate but i haven't seen it Yellow is a tricky one, i'd definitely own one but you've gotta be careful with wheel choice, really hit and miss with some colours -
I had a coilpack issue once I replaced the 25 year old part with new ones and the issue is yet to return

I kind of picky about the silicone hoses and i think they look terrible, but Just jap black silicone kit for about 130ish i think it was for the hoses you can't see which run under the plenum and for the radiator hoses, i got gates ones from repco no issues as of yet

FWIW my power FC has 0 knock on cruising.. the most i've ever had is like 17 or so, probably get the tune touched up or try a different servo As mentioned by gtsboy, the powerfc and factory sensors are not exactly the most reliable source of info

R33 Gtr V Spec - Importr
Jordy32 replied to IMACUL8's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Beauty, love a good R33 GT-R certainly on the "must own" list -
Car has been good lately, took it for a drive up to the blue mountains yesterday Met up with a very well known forum member "that car from speedhunters" haha Explorered a few of the roads around there, some very nice sweepers and tight hairpins, highway patrol also had a good look at both of our skylines on the side of the road Weather was okay, overcast and patchy rain, thankfully it wasn't too hot and the roads were quiet! Took the road all the way up through Bilpin and had a chunky steak pie for lunch, followed by some local made fudge for the road, next time ill get the apple pie, looked really good Drove all the way up to the Evans lookout. I would have loved to have kept going all day, there's certainly a lot to explore but i was getting really tired as i didn't get the best nights sleep and had a drive back to Sydney ahead of me Then all the way back home! Thanks Terry for suggesting a few roads and coming to say gday, nice to meet you

Hey man, to be honest i don't, yet.. I can tell you from my eyes it's cambering in at the back a considerable amount from being lowered as much as it is and also toe'ing in due to the arms being at such odd angles, planning on raising it soon to hopefully fix that, but the guards will need some attention i think

Awesome! That's the dream right there!! As suggested, get a build thread going, hope to see more

High Temp Brembo Decals, Any Good ?
Jordy32 replied to conan7772's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Mate of mine used them for a while, didn't really have a problem with them, lasted like 6 or so months before they got stained with dust but thankfully they are relatively cheap to replace.. If you're going down the path of restoring a set of callipers i'd suggest talking to craved coatings, he did another friends of mine callipers with a white base coat and metallic blue top coat and used the eBay stickers like a masking tape to get the logo to be the white base coat and the blue around it then a clear on top, looked absolutely fantastic While they're apart you can rebuild them with fresh bits and put a new set of pads in and not worry about them for a long time -
That's awesome to know you've broken 2 records! all that e-fame, they should feature your posts in the finding nismo thread, they'd have a heart attack! I think the R32 is a car that can be appreciated by anyone, their articles about drag racing in the US and bosozoku culture and other niches are fantastic, and are always enjoyable to read.. But a clean and rare edition of an R32 GTR hits home with everyone. Congratulations again

I don't think it's an actual kit by nissan, but the boys at just jap put it together for me Parts are as follows Front bumper attaching to the front reo bar 01461-00781 - SCREW x10 01241-00791 - CLIP x10 Front lower lip to front bumper K9601-13921 - BOLT x5 08911-2062H - NUT-HEX x5 N1 Front bumper cover (try your luck, some nissan dealership might have one sitting around?) 62022-06U25 Some screws and clips from the 10 are used to secure the lip also There is also a bag of 7 push lock clip things which don't have a part number on the bag, sorry
