  1. Yeah, my thoughts too! i had a go taking my current bolts and clips off my current bar, 2 snapped due to being so rusted and corroded so i just stopped there..
  2. Bar was about $350 and then paid $50ish for the fitting kit which is about 30 clips/bolts/screws etc
  3. Got a new front bumper for the car as my current one has had a tough life I got the bumper and all brand new hardware for mounting the bar, and the front lip to the bar, Thankfully the mesh, reo, vents etc etc can be reused from my old bumper, will be saving that aside for when the car goes in for paint (hopefully soon!) Thanks to the guys at justjap for being really helpful and organizing the fastener kit!.. I should note, they told me that the bar has now been discontinued from nissan and i was one of the last people to get a new one that they know of, which is exciting! - I guess you can still buy the stock GTR bar, but the N1 version is now no longer Available! if you guys are looking for one, hit up a retailer soon and get one before they're gone Cheers
  4. That's a beautiful piece, looks to be in great condition for its age too!
  5. bloody hell!
  6. I still don't have high expectations in the FR32 in it's 1.8L NA state actually being able to move itself from a stop
  7. RB25 swapped R32 is the dumbest idea i've ever heard of
  8. Guys have had great luck with hydrablasting/hydroblasting forgot which one it is but anyway, on those raw alloy parts they have had them turn up like new
  9. I have mine in the boot (R32 GTS-T) I have a dry cell battery in a morosso sealed box in the boot and a jump start point (+) where the battery used to be simply for convenien and a kill switch in the cabin I'll get some photos tonight if you'd like!
  10. Got a pic of the face that bolts against the hub? would be interesting to see the difference between mine and yours? Also the enkei stickers and paint don't look right but could just be me
  11. Fair enough mate, i was gonna say i'd love to come say gday and check out the car in person! Next year maybe
  12. GTSboy is right, i can confirm that my RPF01's which are a +22 offset have much more material around the central up area, they look WAY too thin, mine have a good few CM more material there Strange
  13. Very keen for the pics! Sorry if i've missed it, are you competing in wtac this year?
  14. Buy 5m, you'll be fine
  15. Not off to the best start are we..
  16. damn Terry, let me know if for some unknown reason you ever want to part with that jacket, i love it!
  17. It seems my GT-R disguise is working lol! I got it from RHD japan, i didn't know they didn't release one for the GTR, is it a common problem with them too? Seems odd they wouldn't release a GTR version don't you think!
  18. Got a tune booked this monday with JEZ to touch up after installing my highflow, so in the meantime i've been doing little things to the car while we wait Up next on the list was the clutch pedal bracket.. A fairly common issue with these cars, and i wanted to fix it before i got stranded I went ahead an ordered a Nismo Clutch pedal bracket, the Nismo item is made of a thicker steel and has some extra welds to strengthen the unit In the box, you get a clutch pedal bracket, and an instruction booklet which is all in Japanese Here's a photo of the unit, you might be able to see the difference in thickness, you can certainly feel it when they are both out of the car I went ahead and pulled out the clutch pedal bracket from the car, and unsurprisingly i found this.. A clean break, there's a lot of evidence that someone has tried to fix this in the past as there is weld and spatter all over the unit, but all that seems to have done is moved the stress to a weaker part of the bracket Here's a comparison shot of the 2, as you can see the nismo unit has had that area boxed in, i can imagine it flex's a lot I assembled the pedal, spring and little switch and put fresh grease where i found old grease and reinstalled it I'm happy to report a world of difference, the pedal feels great and it no longer sounds like someone is bashing the firewall with a hammer whenever i try to change gears! - Thankfully the weather is warming up, working in the open air at night was getting pretty average, but it's warming up and the sun is staying around for longer so I'm happy
  19. Looks like a great base to start with +1 to interest on here, keep us in the loop!
  20. Personally I'd suggest the hicas eliminator kit as you replace a tie rod and a (most probably) worn out ball join with a toe arm and new bushes A lock bar is much cheaper, you might get some funny faces trying to get the rear aligned with all the hicas gear in there though
  21. Sorted, thanks guys
  22. Get the hard pipe kit and have it hydro dipped with a carbon graphic.. That's what i'd do anyway if i was going for the carbon theme
