  1. Quick question for those who have done it How can you make the Z32 AFM bolt to the stock airbox which is designed for a smaller unit? I mean, is there a legit way that most people do or are we just drilling and bolting nice and tight lol
  2. Radiator replaced / $556 - No way, what is it a jap branded one which was express posted to you? even then it wouldn't be that expensive replace thrust bearing (since taking clutch out we assumed to you might as well buy a new clutch while you are at it) two clutch kits one is $804 other $1500 - Clutches can be expensive yes, but for an NA RB25 i honestly doubt you need more than an oem replacement, or maybe an excedy HD which is like $400 max, the labour is the killer on a clutch, not the clutch itself front strut bar bushes / $245 - Bushes are labour intensive but usually only cost like $50 MAX for a set of bushes, what do you mean by strut bar bushes anyway? sway bar bushes? castor rod bushes? even for both of what i've mentioned you could buy new bushes and put them in yourself for under $100 rocker cover gasket, also suggesting to replace spark plugs while at it / $415 - Absolutely ridiculous front and rear struts / $1695 - Most probably not required, buy a whole set (front and rear) of MCA blue coilovers for that money and replace all 4 IMHO, Find another mechanic.. I understand they need to make money but $400 for rocker cover gaskets and spark plugs is absolutely ridiculous, half of the jobs here are relatively easy and with a bit of forum reading here on SAU you could tackle these jobs with the right tools, just read the DIY section, it's fantastic Also, http://www.kudosmotorsports.com/
  3. Thanks mate, ill shoot him a PM
  4. Could you get me a price for drivers door + shipping to 2041 pm'd
  5. Hi guys, looking to buy an R32 Driver side door complete if possible but happy with anything as long as it's straight Colour doesn't matter, black preferred
  6. My GTS-T has a narva/hella item which I'm assuming was also installed during compliance, it's got the GTR spoiler (no lights) I'm pretty sure it's an ADR/compliance law rather than a factory option / nissan part
  7. Looks nuts dude well done! Facebook is blocked at work but will check out the smash repair place when it's home time
  8. Give the cold start and IACV valves a clean, helped with mine
  9. First result of google says it could be one of the following - Faulty Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor - Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor harness is open or shorted - Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor electrical circuit poor connection Being a GTR i'd suggest just taking it to nissan though.
  10. Thanks Good timing, I'm planning on putting them on the market in about a month or so, i'll send you a PM haha
  11. Hi there Fairly well, flush with guards with some guard rolling and camber but my car is fairly low - I'll be looking at a 9 +30 in the near future so i can fit a wider Tyre under the guard but a 235 fits No issues with brake or coil over clearance at the front or rear though
  12. Is that the new NISMO wireless intercooler piping kit?
  13. If you want to see What's involved in going from DE to DET, check my build thread In saying that, I already had the turbo chassis/driveline so it was significantly cheaper, as suggested, sell up and buy a turbo model here's a post i wrote up for a guy who asked a similar question, but the idea is the same http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/459003-25-gt-or-25gtt-help-please/?p=7587864
  14. HICAS ball-joint could be stuffed, did you look at those?
  15. I used Aeroflow 400 series rubber oil line with Aeroflow pushlock -10AN fittings on my GTS-T mainly because they don't draw much attention, look good in black and being a non-braided line (which really isn't necessary for a crankcase breather) the whole ordeal was fairly cheap, obviously the fittings are a little bit expensive, but if you're buying fittings anyway it doesn't really matter EDIT: as to where i purchased my stuff, i got it from rocket industries in sydney, but you can find all the items on ebay and other online stores
  16. Had a fairly chilled weekend, still waiting on my turbo to arrive so i decided to tackle some interior bits and pieces i've had lined up for a while but never really had the time or motivation to do which included the rear seats, passenger seat and installing some sound deadening. yes you read that correctly, INSTALLING sound deadening rather than removing it! For the sound deadening, i used these tubes of sticky foil and foam from Jaycar I covered the whole back section from where the carpet sits, all the way up to the parcel shelf, unfortunately there wasn't much light in there so i couldn't get a clear photo.. I took the time to neaten up the wiring while i was under there too which will help me sleep a little easier I then pulled the old GTS-T Rear seats out and replaced them with much better looking, feeling and cleaner GT-R Rear seats After putting the rear seats in and giving them a once over with the vacuum cleaner i put a GT-R Passenger seat in to replace the old and boring looking GTS-T seat which is much more comfortable Always feel good getting those little jobs done, and for only an hour or two of my time on a lazy Sunday the difference is massive.. Really happy with the interior now, i'm going to look at some speakers for the door and sound deadening in there too as my speakers are missing.. weird.. Cheers
  17. Safe to assume it hasn't been boosted and the badges have been swapped In my opinion, red badges just look better! I'm assuming the previous owner thought the same thing!
  18. It's a dealership who probably use the same place for photos because it's a bit nicer than a road, or a car yard tbh
  19. Iron Chef has a great rep, steer clear of Edward Lee's (lol) Ship stuff back to yourself, you never know what people might steal from the car during the import process.. sad but true
  20. Looks fantastic, i also thought you were selling the N1 and my heart stopped for a moment! Don't scare us like that!
  21. Great guide, thanks for the tips
