How Long Should Car Battery Last When Not In Use?
Jordy32 replied to Dani Boi's topic in General Maintenance
I drive my 32 every 7-10 days and it's never a problem I'd suggest taking it for a longer drive, disconnect it, or purchase a trickle charger -
I don't see the point in running them in that configuration, the pump will flow at a certain rate, putting another one in series will not make it flow any more, you'd be better running them in parallel Someone correct me if I'm wrong? I'm a bit new to multi-pump fuel setups, but that's my understanding of it

Parts Id Confirmation And Part Number. R33 Gts-t
Jordy32 replied to Blue's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Google'd quickly at work, slow day.. BM44 Seal kit; Nabco part number KPB2994X I am also under the impression that the ABS cars only have 2 ports whereas the non ABS have 3, but I'm not confident enough to give you a straight up answer -
If you're going for the stock look i'd suggest the turn flow kit by blitz, or there's an ARC sidemount on yahoo japan at the moment but by the time you get it here it'd probably cost the same as the turnflow to be honest

Got this coming in the mail hopefully next week or so Nismo Boost and EGT gauge

Like others have suggested, head to an exhaust shop and get one made up with 2 mufflers, you can get the nice RB sound without the horrible NA drone There are bolt on solutions you can get from japan, they do however tend to be for the turbo models and have pipe sizes of 3" or more which will create an incredibly loud drone, and sound obnoxious on an NA car and will generally hurt performance. I would suggest a 2.5" custom exhaust.. - Just a side note on Jap exhausts they do tend to hang very low which can be annoying if your son and you end up lowering your car. Hope this helps!

Yay! Nismo Wins Bathurst 12 Hours

Got to watch the last 20 or so minutes, was so exciting! -
buy low sell high baby! actually no, i could never part with nismo stuff, it's too beautiful

Blitz turn flow will be good for the legal reasons, bolt up and piping isn't an issue as it's a kit For the reo problem, you could get a GTR reo and front bar which will have provisions for a front mount as they come factory in the GTR model I recently picked up a Greddy type LS kit from japan for a very reasonable cost but if you're feeling more creative get a GTR intercooler core from a wrecker or something and get some piping made up, will fit the car perfectly

That front lip is so badass
-
I'd suggest the GTR as a strip/weekender and getting a cheap daily By modifying the stag to do an 11, you are removing practicality i'd seem to think.. in saying that, my friend recently bought a stag, just the rb25det version and it's very fun to drive and be a passenger, and nobody seems to know what they are when you boost past them lol

Got a mate or family member that can help you out? i've always found it easiest to just do it traditionally

That colour is nice How'd it go at wakefield? -
I'd suggest getting in contact with josh @ JSAI, he will be able to help you much more being the maker of the kit. or at least point you in the right direction to get the whole getup If you're going for the z-tune look i'd suggest looking at a dmax style carbon bonnet and either genuine ztune quarters or just retain stock and using the JSAI kit for the rest of the part Here is a link for a GTT > z-tune http://www.jsai.com.au/index.php/online-store-90942/nissan-aero-parts/r34-gtt/nissan-r34-gtt-nismo-z-tune-full-kit-detail Here is a link for the GTR > z-tune http://www.jsai.com.au/index.php/online-store-90942/nissan-aero-parts/r34-gtr/nissan-r34-gtr-nismo-z-tune-style-full-kit-detail Hope that helps

It's great isn't it! - Just in time to remove the engine from my car!!! Here's hoping it stays low haha

Thanks! I have an RB25DE from and R33 at the moment (which i found to be a great upgrade in itself haha) and I've just finished an RB25DET from an R33 which is going in in the next month or so I was going to dabble with +T setups because it really interests me, but i ended up getting a plain old boring DET motor
-
Im unsure of any company other than JSAI that do an R34 z-tune kit, but i could be wrong For what it's worth, i have fitted a JSAI body kit to a friends S13 for him and the fitment was fantastic, the parts fitted perfectly and required no modification to fit at all. Josh is also a great guy if you live nearby and end up visiting his shop If you are looking for the best quality and fitment, you're looking at genuine parts and i don't even want to think about the costs for all of the parts you've listed.

Could be something to do with the tolling system? That's a guess though

oo wow that's clean! -
Congratulations on the little one! Build looks to be going well! How good is the AC in these older cars? The reason i ask is my R32's AC isn't working and I'm tossing up weather to try and fix it but I'm not sure the cost will really be worth it as it hasn't worked for me and the past owner said it didn't work for the 2 years he had it.. I guess i'm used to driving without it and it never really and if it's not fantastic i might skip out on it that's all Cheers!
