  1. Had a similar issue with my nardi I just pulled out the clock spring and ran a positive and negative wire to the button and works perfectly
  2. After changing the O2 sensor, fuel filter and a bottle of injector cleaner, the car seems to run noticeably smoother and cleaner Thanks for the help
  3. How else do you explain the effect?!
  4. Hey Mick Filled the car up and put in a bottle of cleaner and went for a drive, definitely felt a little better about halfway through the tank, still a bit surge-y and splutter-y at times unfortunately but a little better, car feels nice when it's smooth! My O2 sensor arrived which i put in last night but I'm yet to take it for a drive so we'll see how it goes
  5. Also to add, i don't believe police like them as they are a possible fire hazard and/or brightly colored
  6. I don't think they have a particular name, but they are called something like a reservoir sock? (Correct me if I'm wrong) You can really use whatever, I've seen people use sweat bands and socks, anything with an elastic property of appropriate size would work.. i got cool little green one with project mu embroided into it free when i ordered some stuff from project mu because they sent my order late You could cable tie a tea towel cut off or spare rag or something around it, doesn't really matter who makes it, all it will do is just soak up boiled fluids and get filthy real quick so i wouldn't go spending large amounts of money on a set of them
  7. That doesn't sound normal at all I replaced the spark plugs quite recently and it was as dry as a bone, ill check again
  8. While I did try help, please don't discount the other replies Using a BEE*R is a great way to destroy f**king everything, please take the other replies on board even if they are the exact opposite of what you wanted to hear
  9. Rather than coming here just to remind you BEE*R's are shit, ill shed a little bit of light These are a pain in the ass to "tune" for the lack of a better word. You literally have to drive around hitting limiter over and over and over while playing with the little knob things As for the yellow one (gain), adjust that one toward the right for more "bangs per second" or left for less; again for the lack of a better phrase.. - While the knobs keep turning, they do have limits in the software/code, so turning it all the way left for like 100 times will not f**k it up, it will just be at it's lower limit. try fiddling with this knob for more bangs. ALSO you will not spit fire and go bang bang every single time, it's quite random and sometimes will not make huge bangs, but sometimes will To be honest, i have one in my 32, never use it and i would happily cut it out of my car if someone came over with cash
  10. Thanks Mick, i put a bottle in, unfortunately i don't drive the car that much so it might take a week or two to get the whole tank and bottle of cleaner through the injectors but we'll see how it goes
  11. Keep up the great work mate! Should be ready to enjoy soon!
  12. There's a ton of translated fuse box photos online, or simply look for a blow fuse.. Also check the connectors up the back, see if any are shorting out or a plug has come lose
  13. Hi guys A few details before we start R32 Skyline Coupe RB25DE S2 (Manual) - ~160,xxxkm RB25 Pink Label AFM RB25DE S2 Manual ECU BP 98 octane fuel Basically what's happening is my revs bog down at around the 2.5k - 3.5k mark at around 1/4 - 1/3 Throttle and it sounds like it's surging almost? I had a similar problem recently throughout the whole rev range unless I had the throttle wide open so I ordered a new TPS and after installing and adjusting it that issue was solved however I'm still getting this strange bog down So far I've replaced the Spark plugs, checked the coil pack loom for any wear but it looks quite clean and in good condition. I've recently replaced and adjusted the TPS, I've cleaned the MAF a few times now, replaced all the fluids, filters, air filter etc etc I have coming from Nissan a new O2 sensor and fuel filter as i though these might be playing a part in the matter, I've also gone over the engine grounds to make sure nothing is going wrong. Should i be looking at a set of coilpacks? they look old/stock so they might've had it, im pretty baffled to be honest My thoughts are that either the coilpacks are dying, or that it's running too rich (stinks of fuel lol, no idea of the o2 sensor history) and simply can't burn it all until i open the throttle more, I'll try find another AFM and see if that helps at alll If anyone has some ideas to what I could try, please let me know Thanks!
  14. Never had a problem with them Delivery time took around 2 weeks, not too bad Would buy from again
  15. Also keep in mind that skylines of all ages are getting older now, an R34 with 20,000km's might be a little too good to be true so keep your guard up. As Charles said, look at the condition of the car rather than the KM's and base your decision on that Best of luck!
  16. I think I've caught myself something! - Hopefully get over it in a day or two if all goes well Love how it lines up with my 2 days off perfectly, just my luck!
  17. 5" is way too big Buying a good quality muffler and having it at the right size will be fine, forget 5"
  18. Engine bay looks really nice Keep up the good work!
  19. Rear ones are a pain to get to, but you can use a dremel or maybe an angle grinder, grind down 2 flat surfaces, on on each side making them as flat as possible and crack it with a spanner
  20. Super cool, love it!
  21. Thank you very much, I'll be looking into it for sure!
  22. Don't let manual scare you, i bought my first car (s13 silvia) in Melbourne never having touched manual and drove it home(SYDNEY!) that taught me pretty quickly (lol) Sounds like a 4 door R34 would be the best way to go for your needs - they look awesome too!
  23. Hey mate which welder are you using? I'm pretty confident with a MIG so was hoping to jump into TIG and hopefully teach myself with the help of many guides and videos, i honestly just want to jump in and give it a go ahah
  24. BEAUTIFUL Inspiringly gorgeous, the engine bay, the fuel system, everything! love it!!!!!!!! You've go me wanting to go down the black everything path when i dive into the wonderful world of turbochargers Keep up the great work, what a read!
