  2. done it worked a treat, couldnt figure out how to get the pedal out but just loosesing the nut and turning the rod was the way to go feels a whole lot better

  5. ok havnt got around to doing this yet but i have some time now.. i just took some pics of where the clutch pedal/arm goes into the cylinder which bolt am i supposed to play with?

  7. will this effect any other charachteristics of the clutch? llongevity,clamping pressure etc
  8. gday lads i recently got a new clutch installed and as the friction point on my last clutch was quite high (mid to top) i asked for the same thing to be done again silly me now the clutch initiates almost as soon as the pedal is depressed and then has heaps of free play all the way down to the ground, well this simply feels shithouse and its an actual hassle to drive the car. (i've stalled 3 times in a week :Oops: ) how can i reverse this to have the grab point a lot further down like at the bottom? is there some sort of adjustment that can be made to a cable or something its a r33 gtst Cheers Jim

  12. very.. get the heat resistant stuff, like 600 degrees or something, and after i had finsished i went for a drive for a few hours using some heavy braking and curing the paint.
  13. do it yourself man seriously, its fun and easy plus theres not a lot that can go wrong. it'll just mean your cars off the road for a couple of days
  14. its hard took ages and then i forgot to save beofre turning off took ages again yes leapfrogging is the way, sometimes it works sometimes it dosnt like i said its hard
