  1. there seems to be a lot of interest in this. but as i said this will NOT bolt on easily at all, if you have a good metal worker who can rig up a flange or whatever then cool, but i dont want to be thought of as somebody who will rip people off, especially loyal SAU goers. if whoever gets it finds out that they dont want to go ahead with it they could always sell it off as a sr20 turbo (probably for a tidy profit too) as thats what i believe it actually is so i guess i'm worried over nothing, I just dont want my good forum reputation ( i hope ) to suffer try finding someone as honest as me elsewhere huh
  2. dont know how much exactly matey, depends who you take it to and how much they know i guess. both john and pete ( i think his name is, his dyno tuner) checked it and gave it the thumbs up. as in the original thread KMs are unknown unfortunately... but cant be too high i'd guess considering the condition
  3. it will however bolton to SR20 and GTR if somebody with a set of 2530/35's wants to run one of each this could be lovely
  4. hey all, after purchasing this turbo ...http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=43594 i have reconsidered and it is up for sale again, i got it for an absolute bargain and i am willing to let it go for what i got it for $1200 this is a genuine HKS 2540 i have had it checked myself by unique autosports and they have confirmed its in pristine condition. WILL NOT BOLT DIRECTLY ONTO RB25 without custom work regardless of what the other post says, but thats not the reason i'm selling it. my current turbo i have since figured out is actually bigger than this one. in NSW but willing to ship at buyers expense

  12. gday. today when i left home in my 33 the needle of the fuel gauge dropped right down, i had a quater of a tank of petrol and only done 300 of my normal 400k's per tank milage and then it just fell all the way past E, like further than i have ever seen a fuel needle ever. i couldnt smell or feel anything wrong like a mean rupture or leak anywhere so i just figured that the fuel sender sensor thing had fallen off which would be a hassle to fix up but no biggie. but then after another 30 seconds or so it climbed back up to the quarter line  and kept repeating doing that up and down, so i'm guessing its not the sender as that would just stay down and not move, right? it stopped doing that and displayed normally for the remaider of the trip. then on the return trip it did the same thing again, (not a cold engine either, was only out of the car for about 1/2 an hour) anyone experienced this before or able to shed some light? cheers Jim
