  1. Car accident infomation. Hi guys I'm trying to find Information regarding this matter but seem to be having no luck on getting a definite answer. I wanted to ask if you get into a car accident and you're at fault and you pay for their repairs out of your own pocket but they have notified their insurance company regarding the accident does this still go on your record ? regardless whether you are or you are not paying for their repairs without them having to make a claim against you ? or does it only go on your record when they make a claim against you ? it's all super confusing. Only reply if you're 100% sure on this topic, I don't want to get mixed or wrong Information. Cheers.
  2. Sr20det fuel line size Hi guys i have a ts 800 fpr on the way and im trying to find out what size hose tail i need for the fuel lines going in and out of the fpr. Iv looked around but not having much luck. If anyone knows what size hose tail i need that would be extremely helpful. There is the 6mm ' 8mm ' 10mm i think
  3. t28 - gt2871r turbo change hi guys just a quick question. I about to change out my t28 turbo for a gt2871r my question is will I be ok to drive it to the shops to get it tuned after i switch them out ? or is it not safe to do so and I should put the car on a trailer and take it down ?. i was going to get the shops to change them but its going to cost around $700. which i can do the job at home myself.

GT2871R turbo Hi guys i just picked up a 2871r .64.ar I'm trying to find what the specs are for this turbo but I'm not having much luck regarding the followings ' what the efficiency range of the turbo is and also what the max psi it can handle also what would be a ideal psi to run ect.. Do feel free to give me your Advice on what I should do and what I should be looking at doing ect. I have only manage to find out little bits and pieces of information from what people are saying on different forums but nothing solid. I'm looking to make 300whp but I would be pretty happy if i can make upto 350whp max. I'll be putting it on a s15 sr20 stock internals. I only have the usual basic mods nothing too crazy. FMIC ' 550 injectors ' Walbro 255 fuel pump' Haltec ECU will be retuned to 98 only ' RAS. Z32 AFM. Also should i throw in a set of cams 256 cams ? I'm still debating if i want to or not because if i change cams then vct is gonna shit itself then i gotta spend money down the track replacing otherwise i'll need to delete it all together to save the hassle later. Is the power or benefit gain from cams worth the problems and money I have to spend on it ?. At the moment I'm just thinking of putting the new turbo on and retuning it and leaving it as is but I'm not sure what power figure ill be looking at ect. Anyways Any Info regarding the turbo would be greatly appreciated Thanks.
  6. Bc coil over rebuild & camber Hi guys can you guys list me some decent coilover rebuild places in brisbane that is a reasonable price. Also i only need one of my coils rebuilt so not sure if just doing 1 will be cheaper or doing all 4 at the same time i got a set of used bc fully adjustable coilovers on a s15. The front left is knocking i have already taken it out just needs to be rebuilt. Cheers.
  7. sr20det water temp Hi guys the water temp on my s15 sr20det its idling around 87-95c. Driving around 60-70kmpm it idles around 85-89c and if im doing highway speeds at 90kmph or more it rises and sits around 95-100c. I cannot run the air con at all if i do it will hit 110c+ and the stock water temp on the dash will also go into over heating. If i turn the heater on then the water temp goes back down to around 80-85c if i turn the heater off the it rises back up again. I have changed out my thermostat for a brand new one and i have flushed out my radiator there isn't any leaks as well the coolant is topped up so i have no idea why my water temp is running so high. Everything is stock. The only problems i can think of is my stock oil temp sensor the part that goes into the engine is broken so the electrical it isn't connected Not sure if this will have anything to do with my water temp running so high. I'm running a after market water temp and oil temp gauge. any help or thoughts on the problem would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to go out a buy a brand new $600 radiator if it isn't the problem.......
  8. oil pressure sensor brass adapter snapped. help Hi guys my brass t piece for my oil pressure just snapped and the some of the brass thread is still inside the actual engine oil hole. I have no idea how i'm going to get it out..... what would my options be if i cant get it out ? Has this happened to anyone before? any help or info would be greatly appreciated. its a sr20det engine. 200sx s15
  9. T28 rear housing size & Hi flowed ? Hey guys I'm trying to find out what rear housing size my turbo is but can't seem to find the right info. I've got a 200sx - s15 with which I believe still has the factory t28 bush bearing turbo. Does anyone know what the rear housing size is not sure if its the .64 or .86 or I could be wrong all together...... anyways any help would be appreciated. Also Has anyone had any experienced with Hi flowed turbos ?. Correct me if I'm wrong but from what I understand Hi flowing the t28 will mean that it will still spool at the same rpm as it is stock but just makes more boost compared it in stock form at the same rpm for e.g. Stock Hi flow 2000rpm 2000rpm =5psi =7psi and so on wards ? Does it also mean that the t28 will hold boost right upto redline as well?. Are there any downsides or things to worry about when Hi flowing?. Cheers.
  10. I just got the car and the seller just put in brand new exedy clutch and master cyl as well. I had a lighten fly on my dc5r and it revved so much easier and freely I love it..... But the s15 is just not as responsive.... its really slow trying to rev lol hence why i wanted to get a lighter fly for it.

Hi guys I'm looking at getting a lighten flywheel for my s15 ADM could you guys recommend me some good choices and how much they are ?, would i be able to get them locally or do i have to order it from overseas?, should I also be looking at getting anything else to support the lighten flywheel ?. A mate of mine said that I should look at getting light weight pulleys and harmonic balancer as well. I just want to be able to rev faster as I'm currently still using the stock flywheel and it just way too slow and heavy for me. I'm currently running a exedy hd clutch. How light would you guys recommend ? I don't want to go too light and have to worry about stuff breaking ect. Any hints and tips would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Just a quick question honestly I'm such a moron..... i sent in my exemption but i forgot that in Australia our spec is called 200sx..... i put in all the 200sx details the engine number ' rego and all of that on the exemption form but under where it says what type of car i put s15 instead of 200sx..... has anyone done this mistake before while applying for their exemption if so did they fail you because of that ?

  15. Hi guys sorry I know this is skyline not silvia but I couldn't find a Australian based silvia forum. Anyways i'm applying for the s15 ADM Exemption. I went into Nissan today to get the spec sheet but the guy just went onto wikipedia.... I don't think that transport will accept that if i just printed it off there. Does anyone here have the s15 adm spec sheet from nissan or a brochure ? if you do can you link or post it for me cheers.
  16. Hi guys does anyone here have any experience regarding weight reduction on the 25gt four version? How much weight can the car lose? is it possible to lose around 100-200kg ? instead of chasing hp gain and wasting a crap load of money wouldn't it not be better if i just remove useless crap off the car and give it a better power to weight ratio. could you guys list me down what can be removed and how much kg roughly they are. The only things I can think off is the following things not sure how many kg each item is as well.. back seats ? spare tire ? sound deadening ? air con ? what else can be removed that will still keep the car street legal?

  18. Hi guys can you guys help me out. How much am i looking at to turbo a stock N/A 2.5 neo 25gt4 1. Can you guys list me down all the things ill need and how much they will be and also how much installation and tuning will cost 2. Does a turbo kit come with everything Ill need ? or will i have to shop around for each individual part ? 3. Is the N/A 2.5 neo the same as the turbo version in relations to how much boost they can handle before internals need upgrading? I have around 10k to play with can you guys give me a rough idea of what kind of power I will be looking at after everything is finished? I will be looking at a bigger turbo then a stock neo version would like to have around 250-300rwk if the stock internals can handle it. I know I'll be looking at around roughly $2k - 2.5k for a ecu and tuning already so will $7.5k - 8k be enough to get everything all good to go ? Thanks in Advance.

  20. Hi guys I have afew questions to ask so hopefully you guys can help me out here. First of all I want to get a r34 but there isnt any on sale and if there is they are over 30k+ So I want to buy a 25gt for the look. I want to have a awd instead of rwd however I looked around and found there is too much f**king around and costly to convert rwd to awd So I was thinking about getting a 25gt 4 since it comes stock with awd However I'm not sure if they come turbo as well I could only find na versions... I would like to have around 300rwkw after modding if anyone could list me down the specifics and also how much $$$ per specific mod would cost to turbo from na or upgrading the already turbo 25gtt parts to make around 300rwkw I would appreciate it. So my first question is Am i better off getting a 25gt4 and putting a turbo onto it and just upgrading the internals and doing everything at once to make 300rwkw ' How much am i looking at per specific part/mod + labour and tuning ? and is it going to be cheaper to make 300 whp ? Or Am i just better to get a 25gtt rwd and just work on it to get around 300rwkw ' How much am i looking at per specific part/mod + labour and tune ? Or just buy a already modded 25gt that is pulling around 200rwkw for around 20 grand ? I was thinking about buying a 25gtt or 25gt4 at around 10k then spending 10k on top for more power which would be cheaper and more cost effective My spending money will be around 10 grand.   21. Hi guys just a quick what is the most power you can get from a 2.5 neo engine from the skyline 25gt without going turbo or supercharged and what would kind of price Range are you looking at? Is it possible to get around 300hp ?
