That 60 footer is pretty horrible. Backing of a little instead of changing to second might be better. This is what i do, the RB just feels so much happier in the high revs. With a pod, boost controller and cat back exhaust, I managed a 13.6 with a 60 footer of 2.0.... 14.78 is half a second slower then the official time for an r33 gts-t isnt it?!?! Go back again with better tyres.

I read somewhere that 3 degress retarded is the average setting? Will i see a benefit without a computer?

Hey guys... Im in a little bit of a dilemna. i need to know how to tell for sure that my engine is a series one motor. I have a 94 model r33 gtst, and ordered myself some splitfire coilpacks a couple of months ago. anyhow, upon receiving them, and for the first time looking for my igniter pack... i realised i dont have one.... This would usually be a sure sign its a series 2 right? I never thought 94 models come with series 2 motors but? The coilpacks look exactly the same as the ones in there now so i dont really understand why the wouldnt work? Thanks for your time guys, EDIT: Pictures added below Cheers.

Are you planning on making these in the Blue 4x20 display? Was sceptical of these at first because i have the impakt one.... but congrats man, these now look far superiour. If your making them in the 4x20 box... (smaller i hope) Then count me in.

Hey mate! Feel sorry for you! I had this exact problem on my 33 after i had drained the box What you need my friend is a very big bloke to come round and remove it for you. I had a socket set with a ring spanner on the end (no breaker bar available) and one of my mates managed to get it off. I found mine had some thread lock on it.... was not happy....

Yeh thats right. also, the stuff alot of good exhaust shops put on gaskets will burn and smoke at first... Don't worry, will be gone after a couple of days.

Hmm. thanks for that. Ive gone over it and cant find any boost leaks. but it would make sense as the car is popping after backing off up high in the rev range. I have ordered splitfire coils and a second hand afm to test the problem. back to basics i guess!

Cheers for that mate. will try the new afm im ordering to see if it makes a difference Still think that it hitting 5.11 volts at about 5000 rpm is a bit sus but i really dont know much about them.
