  3. Hello I have a r32 gts-t I am going to buy 550cc injectors and a larger fuel pump, bigger turbo, and supporting mods for tuning the car. My goal is about 350-400 hp. For now I am putting a rb 25 turbo on the car and upping the boost. The car has full turbo back exhaust, pod and fmic. When is a aftermarket fuel pressure regulator needed?
  4. I have searched but cannot find what is needed to put a rb26 into a r32 gts-t. What will I need to put a rb26 into the 32 to make it work? What wiring and looms do I use?
  5. Hello I have a r32 gts-t. Ive read that the oil pump, or something like that, is weak on the RB20 det the same as it is on the RB26 dett. Is this true? Also Ive read that the rb25 det and the rb26 dett have stock factory oil coolers built in. Is this true? If I am uping my boost and tuning the car to go over 300hp, should I invest in a oil cooler?
  6. Hello I am wanting to make my RB20 reach as close to 400hp as possible and keep good response. I have received many suggestions which are good. Just to look at the other side so that I can have all understanding of my options, which is a good engine to put in the 32, a rb25 or rb26? I read that the 25 is good but it has its problems and cant be boosted too high because of its compression. I read that the 26 is great, just expensive. Ive read that the s1 25 engine is easier to wire in than the s2 and neo, but the neo's ecu's is easier to have it nistuned, chipped, etc. What are the pros and cons of putting a rb25 engine in? What are the pros and cons of putting a rb26 engine in? If I do these mods, my road tax and other expenses here in Japan will go up more than double for what they are for the stock rb20. If it is not neccessary to put either in to get 400 hp and have good response, than I will not. Once I mod up and tune my 20 , will I have better torque?
  7. I checked out your site, nice stuff. So stock full boost on the rb20 turbo is at 5600 rpm, so having a turbo come on full boost by 4500 is good, correct? Do you have an option to get me to 400hp with similar responses for street?
  8. The gas here in Japan for Hi Oct is pretty good, 97 or something like that.
  9. I want to aim for 300hp first and after that go for as close to 400 hp as I can with good response. I have a rb20 with stock turbo, full turbo back exhaust with sports cat. return to stock piping fmic, and will put on a boostcontroller soon and maybe a rb25 turbo. I live in Japan so no E85 I would like Tomei but it is last place right now due to price.
  10. Hello I have researched fuel pumps and have come down to a couple I am looking at. Does any one know of the quality of Detschworks fuel pumps? I am looking at a Walbro 255l or a Tomei 255l or the Detschworks 255l and maybe the Bosch 044. With the Walbro and Bosch 044, are they hard to mount to the r32 gtst-t fuel pump cradle? Do I have to buy the socks seperately? Which ones which be a good choice?

  14. Hello I did a search for cam gears on this forum and cant really find anything. Are adjustable cam gears worth it on a rb20? Will it help with torque? I have a stock rb20 with stock turbo. I have a full turbo back exhaust with sports cat, and a pod and return to stock piping fmic. I am putting in a boost controller soon and possibily a rb25 turbo.

  16. Thanks for the advice. I would but it would cost too much in yearly road taxes to get that engine as well as having to reregister it with the change and have to pay more money.

  21. Oh, youve been running 16psi? I thought they were not good over 1 bar before they run high risk of breaking? What kind of response and power have you gotten without a tune?
