Hi all, bought a c's type short shifter of another forum member and installed it the other day and found that it was very sloppy, meaning it has about 50mm of play before it starts to move the linkages (or whatever is inside the box:Oops:). Are you suposed to use the the little plastick bit that comes with the kit or the one on the old stick, that goes on the little ball on the very bottom of the shifter? The on in the kit seems too small and leaves it feeling sloppy and the one I took of the stock shifter keeps coming off and jamming inside the box! Anyone know what the go is?

As the title says i bought, what was supposed to be an 044 but the part number on it reads.... bosch B 580 152 535 I bought it off a forum member and what he said to me was that the one he sold me was made in germany while the one that most people get their hands on comes from the czech republic and has the usual 044 number on it! Can anyone help me on this matter? I've already looked EVERYWHERE! Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi all, Would anyone know why my freshly imported gtr wont spool up! I've checked both turbo's for shaft play and how well they spin and they seem ok! I've also checked the wastegate's and they seem to move freely! The car blows only a little smoke and nothing to worry about! there are no holes in any of the vacuum lines or turbo pipes! I'm at a complete loss! All I can think of is the stock boost solinoid working? Would any one be able to tell me where it is? I've followed the actuator lines to the back of the engine but i lose where they go! Anyways any help would be much appreciated!!!!!!

Have you got the condensor fan? If so how much?

Leave the standard air box in it and put a nismo panel filter in! If you must get a pod filter make a box and route outside air to it! Oh yeh, do what they saide too!:headspin:

Yeah I've emailed brent on a few occations and the response was either late or non existant... This worries me because to me, it reflects on his service. Either way I have mostly heard of good things and may still give him a go, staring with some cheaper items! Anyway thanks a heap guys!

Thanks guys, that helped a lot! So , really theres a good chance that things could slip through customs!?! And he also goes to the trouble of wrapping it up to look like a gift? I wanted to buy a few things from nengun though i've been hearing that there are taxes and whatever charges when the stuff arrives!?! Can this blow out the price of the item considerably? I'v also seen somewhere on the forums that he goes to the trouble of wrapping the stuff up in wrapping paper? And i've also heard that it's unlikely to be picked up by customs?!? If anyone could help clear this up I would be most greatful as I'm keen on his products/Prices!

sorry for the late reply! :Oops: Well what I want is a car that is fun, Well I mean, I don't have a spacific purpose for it. I wanna drift, Drag, Whatever just want to experiment with the car! As for my budget, maybe just over 13 thousand keeping in mind that I'll be doing most of the work myself, sort of as a hobby (have company car so it doesn't matter how long it's off the road). If anyone has any allround setup suggestions(internals, fuel systems etc), feel free to let me know! Or whatever you guys may be running in your cars and type of power output, Drivability, Whatever! Hey guys, I am getting so confused with all the different turbo kits up on the market and i was just wondering if anyone could help! Firstly I've got a series 1 r33 gtst and I also know I need all the associated mods to support the turbo set up, which isn't my problem! This is my goal is to have around 250-300 rwkW. I don't really care about driveability or traction, I just want power! These are the kits/turbo's i'm looking at: Trust tdo 6 20gc HKS 2835 T04 E To4 s Apexi rx 6 Any advice would be greatly appreciated, even other types of setup or whatever! Thanks in advance!
