  1. At one point I had both lines from my catch can attached to each of the rocker covers. The covers were joined by the U-shaped hose. The catch can was the attached to the intake before the turbo. I blocked the intake plenum. I'm not sure if there two are related, but I have blown out some of the silastic between the block and the sump - oil leaks now. Was blocking the plenum and leaving the fumes to find their own way to the can the cause of this?
  2. Hi, I am after an adjustable fuel reg to use on by RB20. I wanted to get a Bosch one coz my mate can get trade prices if I buy it thru Repco or somewhere like that and they don't stock Malpassi. I wanted the B 280 500 737 reg from the Bosch Motorsport website, but Boasch Australia don't recognise the part number. Is anyone using a Bosch adj fuel reg? Do you know what part number it is? Thanks.
  3. I spoke to AVO and they said to run hoses from both rocker covers to the catch can. They said that I should block off the vavle on the plenum and plumb the can back to my intake(before the turbo). So they've said the same as you. I'm pretty happy. Thanks. Out of interest what is the purpose of connecting the rocker cover to the intake plenum via the valve?
  4. Thanks Belly_up, Once again for the people in the cheap seats - you reckon I should block off the line between the plenum and the intake-side rocker cover (I'd remove the valve and replace it with a brass plug). I should then run one line from each of the rocker covers to the two inlets on the top of the catch can. I should then assess whether the can has filter material in it, if it does, I can plumb back to the inlet piping, if it doesn't I should put a filter in it. Does that sound like what you mean?
  5. About catch cans. I bought an AVO unit 'bout a year ago. It has two inlets on the top and one outlet on the side. I use it on my RB20. I have blocked off one of the inlets, connecting the catch-can only to the exhaust-side cover. The exhaust-side cover is connected to the intake-side cover as normal, which is the connected the inlet plenum as normal. The catch-can outlet is connected to the pipe between the AFM and turbo as normal. I still find that I have heaps of oil in my intake pipes. I also noticed that there is never a real build up of oil in the catch can (should there be?). Am I expecting to much (thinking this should leave no oil in my intake)? Should I connect it up differently? I'm asking coz I feel like I've wasted my money - but you guys rekon catch-cans are ok.
  6. Want to pay around $150.
  7. Hi, I am after a 14 psi (or so) actuator for an RB20 style turbo. Looking to spend around $100. Thanks.
  8. Thanks nissaner, I gave him a call and he said around $180. Did you end up fixing your problem? I want to get a 14 psi actuator to alleviate some of the spike I am getting with my bleeder valve. Am I right in thinking an actuator will hep?
  9. I have a stock RB20 actuator. I would like it to be set to 14 psi, can I go to any turbo place to get that done? Is it something I can do at home? What sort of price would I be looking at?
  10. Can you change the spring on a stock actautor? How would you do that?
  11. nissaner, Where did you get your actuator? How much did it cost? I am thinking of one, but haven't seen them around before.
  12. Hi, I want to put a Bosch fuel reg on my R32 GTSt. Does anyone know which part number I should be looking at - I've found their website a little confusing. Any help would be great! www.bosch-motorsport.com - product overview - actuators
  13. Turbomad, do you know which Bosch unit to go for? Do you know a part number?
  14. Does anyone know what the standard base fuel pressure is on an R32 GTR? Is it the same for an R33 and R34?
  15. Thanks everyone - the RSM has been sold.
  16. <<>> check your PM
  17. I think that the G-sensor from Unique Autosports is $110.
  18. Yes, it is the model shown by PRANK. Nothing is missing in the way of parts - it is how you buy it new. Seperate to the RSM you can purchase a stand which can be used with any of the blue face Apexi units (I didn't see the point as it can go just about anywhere without the stand). Also seperate to the RSM you can buy a G-sensor. The G-sensor plugs into the RSM and allows it to track things such as G-forces side-to-side and backwards and forwards.
  19. Hi, This is off the topic, but can someone help? I would like to know what the diameter of R32 GTSt, R32 GTR and R33 GTSt disc are in diameter. I have noticed that R33 brakes are becoming a popular upgrade for an R32 - I thought they were the same. Any help would be great! Thanks.
  20. Yes. Still for sale.
  21. I am selling the RSM, in the box with english instructions. The rest will need to be sourced elsewhere. Yes, the RSM will cancel out the speed cut on your car.
