Yeah look, the stagea is a great practical car that has far more performance than anything local.. and your right we do each have our own differences. I'll leave it there to not further rumble the nest. Oh and damn you must be tall to not fit into a skyline Supra estate.. lol. so your 12. ah ok.

Apologies if you took it as kicking you.. I was just saying I couldn't disagree more. Suck my balls was more figure of speech, it didn't translate obviously. You used the vomit icon when comparing the rear end and when I post a pic of both up.. I think it's clear for all, that besides that they look bloody similar because they are both a farking wagon.. you couldn't call either of them far superior from each other... buts that's all arseholes/opinions. I just took the your approach as not even seeing the picture. That said. I didn't want to start a debate on which car you can jerk off to more.. I'll save that for another time and thread. The First question remained, and I simply said yes I think there are other contenders.
-
The question was put " what other wagons besides a 300c look as cool as a stagea? " so I answered. I'm a Nissan man... though lets face it there Are better looking wagons, and that was the farking question. Opinions are well opinions... but if we took an aggregate collections of votes on which was more aesthetically endowed then you'd have the Leggie come out on top 90%. Just face it. That's great that you like stageas (they are great cars).. and the fact that their looks make you feel giddy is ace, enjoy it. Standard they are better handling cars.. that's what I've heard.. so I won't take it as gospel. But it's reason enough to warrant thought. Aftermarket... well... likewise... how much money do you wanna spend at both?
-
Yeerrr your riggght it makes me what to loose my lunch instantly... mate suck my balls. This is infinately better Pffft They are both wagons.. so it's harder off the bat to look good. To say that a stagea is in a different league when considering the rear is a joke. It may have a slight fw bias I think that With the goodies AYC etc it handles great put suspension on and your laughing. Not to mention WRC prefer a fw bias but thats getting waaay off topic. Don;t fool your slef with your wagons rw bias... what are you going to go sliding in a 4wd ? Anyway. An importer who has driven both has said that the mitsu is a better drive and HANDLES better.
-
umm a Mitsubishi Legnum VR-4 hands it to Stageas with a stick in the looks department. No offence but you can't argue with that: 2.5L twin turbo 4wd to boot too, and from what I've read a better car to drive, handling ( has AYC like an Evo), Interior is far superior, blah blah
-
What exactly makes the Evo such a shit drive? Is it seating position? Interior appointments? Boost? I always thought that the Evo came on boost quite low and was a torque beast... it was the wrx which had no bottom end (well until the newer 2.5l) Could you explain further please.. as I'm looking for an Evo at the moment.

If you think an R33 GTR is a family coupe.. then your stupid. From factory the improvements and adjustments eg faster attesa than the 32 made it just as competative.. it's just the 32 had an oppertunity to make a name for itself around Bathhurst. If we look at Nurburgring times, well the 33 does well as a 'family coupe' to beat the 32 by more than 20 sec: 8:22.38 147.617 km/h -- Nissan Skyline R32 GTR (Best Motoring video "Carrera Invasion") 8:01.72 153.984 km/h -- Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R, (Best Motoring video "Carrera Invasion") I love both because they are absolute animals for road cars... lets not kid ourselves and say that one is far inferior because it LOOKS a bit heavier and bigger, when in reality the 33 is not packing that many more kilos and goes just as hard. You've got the fun bit to choose which one appeals more to you... but family coupe pffft
-
It was established that we we're talking about earlier GC8 series WRX's .. right. So they do pack a launch but other than that they're average, especially the roll / over taking etc. I also understood their somewhere around 100 KW at the wheels stock.

76% the role playing questions threw me good to see all those old games... ahh memories, sad isn't it.
-
Hmm no reaction to my pm's.. Yep so if anyone can help out I'd appreciate. Can swing by any time this week or vice versa, as mentioned I'm just up paynham rd. Cheers
-
I can handle a thrashing, but when you can see that the team just gives up.. it's not fun. They did well to make it, if any of their early attempts had scored then it could have changed the nature of the game and it would have been a good game to watch. Id rather a close game than a 6-0 arse wiping even if my team was in the lead.

Speeding has never killed It's stopping very suddenly that has.

Wicked.. well thats waaaay more than I had completed. I'll give Thirty Four a pm seeing how he's completed the farker. Though I'm in the Glynde area now so maybe easier to find someone close - anyone near me? It's between Magill Rd and Payneham Rd

Some how I've managed to delete my gran turismo 4 save game profile from my mem card. Do any of you guys have a profile which has a whole bunch of cars and liceneces completed? Just need to copy a profile from someone. Have a whole bunch of automotive dvd's etc I could exchange for the trouble.

Can it beat one of those Y2k Bikes though? A big bad supercharged V8 is impressive.. but the Jet Turbine out of a Bell Jetranger 206 Helicopter is another league. Y2k Jet Turbine Motorbike

Wow.. thats quite a story As someone said there - it's good to see the finer side human behaviour, albiet amongst a story of those tools who caused the accident.

I've driven a good few jap performance cars and gearboxes vary greatly. Which cars have impressed you with their feel and operation, and which others were shithouse. I'm really asking about feel as opposed to the internal stregth and glass vs tough as nails gearboxes. How does a 33 skyline box say pull up next to a RZ Supra 6 speed? I've found that GTiR boxes are horrible, it seems like you can snap the stick off at any stage and it's really springy. WRX's boxes were alright.. though I prefer the notchy throw of a skyline better. S4 rx7's are crap too.. and everyone who I've let have a fang of my car mis shifts and speak poorly of it.

Quite interesting. The company could stand to make a fortune if industry takes the technology onboard. Well done - and Australian too!
