thankyou for the replies guys, yea have been told its mostlikely the afm so will clean as it as said above and go from there. ^ and then i will try sort the timing out. once again appreciate the help!!

it has standard 25det ecu, just about to check how to pressure test then will check double check for boostleaks soon and get back to you. thanks for the reply man

hey there, have just got my s2 rb25det r32 running.. its pretty much standard apart from fmic, splitfire coilpaks, alloy rad, 3inch striaght pipe exhaust etc. it idles perfectly... but when driving it splatters/coughs doesnt boost etc. you can drive without hitting turbo but with foot flat down or like 30% throttle plus it missfires splatters and all that like crazy making backfire noises and such. does it in every gear aswell. it idles perfect never dies when coming to a stop or anything. i recently changed rad, thermostat, exhaust pipe recently. all lines im pretty sure are plumbed in correctly. one thing i did do was move the cas when i took the timing cover off. could that be it? but yea it idles perfectly its just when trying to drive or accelerate at 2500revs plus the problems start. it revs fine when not in gear too.. another note the conversion was only just recently done maybe a couple months ago but was first driven today since installed. i only just started it yesterday. will try to play around with a few things tomorrow but yea im no mechanic so help would be good.. thanks for reading and any help will be much appreciated

i disconnected hoses from resoivoir and cleaned out the resoivoir thoroughly, so reconnect reservoir. disconnect lines from rack then poor normal p.s fluid through it and thats it? and yea then a few slaps lol, cheers for the reply btw dude

hey guys. on my series 2 25det which has a 20detpump on it, lastnight my mate poured brake fluid dot4 into my powersteering resevoir, he put in about half a glass or so in there..? i was pretty sure that wasnt okay and has been told today that its definitely a no go? i disconnected the hoses from the p.s reservoir today and drained the reservoir. how do i flush out the rest of the powersteering system? hoses/pump etc.. i dont have any p.s fluid or anything and also we havent started the car while the dot4 fluid has been in either, will my pump still be okay? but yes please help obviously im not no mechanic so bare with me, thanks alot. p.s i wasnt sure where to post this thread.

oh i see, sorry im not really that great mechanically.. im learning as i go. so all in all what would i be looking/asking around for exactly? nissan xmember with B or C on it? is there an exact model xmember or something cause I've read that its an r33 cross member that will do the job and ive also read that supposedly an ca s13 crossmember should do it..

hey guys just signed up to this forum, and in need of help please. have done some searching through google but havent found a definite answer.. i have a 25det with a 20det gbox attatched in my 32 sedan, i have two 32 crossmembers am not sure if they are sedan, coupe, manual or auto crossmembers but they have the leter A on it. the crossmembers dont line up to the chassis when attatched to the bit on the gearbox(not sure of the name but the bit that attatches to the crossmember. so far i only have one bolt on each side thats holding the crossmember to the skyline. jw if someone can tell me what crossmember i need or what modifications need to be done in order to get a correct instalment? my cross members look just like this one http://www.boostnetwork.com/database/forums/files/post-239045-13584975001853971838.jpg any help and replies will be muchly appreciated. thanks
