Hey guys/girls i used to frequest this forum alot and due to work and what not its limited my communications, anyways back to what im here for i have my black 1992 R32 gtst type m up for sale $4,450 or nearest offer. I am situated in western suburbs, 10 minutes from liverpool NSW what im going to do is list the problems not the modifications because well im not here to stuff anyone around, i just need the car gone because i dont have the time to repair it and get it back on its legs. OK i had an accident month or two ago, probably could do with two front quarter panels, bonnet is faded so could do with one of those and front bar needs to be replaced as it has a gash on its side, you can repair it if you want, what ever tickles your fancy. both front indicator lights are damaged so they need to be replaced, the head lights are ok but maybe need to be positions abit better, i think they were slightly moved in the accident. the drivers door has afew dings in the side and scratches due to the accident and also review mirror glass broken. thats all for the front end damage. Another issue with the car is the MOTOR, 1. it overheats the overheating, it has a leak from the front of the motor behind the fan so it could just be a buckled gasket or maybe a blown headgasket, im not sure...thats something you can get your mechanic to check out. 2. Oil leak from the back of the motor at the top, i think this can be fixed by replacing the rocker cover seals but once again, get mechanic to check. 3. I think the gearbox is on its way out as the clutch has been playing up, clutch is only about 8 months old, could be the master cylinder, probably all in all it would be cheaper if u purchased a 2nd hand motor with dog box, i think they go for about the 2-2.5k mark and throw it in, get the panels replaced/fixed and the front bar and your sweet. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The car has a front mount intercooler which i havent had any hassels with and wasnt damaged at all in the accident, air filter, blow off valve and a cat-back exhaust. within the car you've got awesome pair of faded seat covers, boost guage, alpine cd player. the car is a type m and i think comes with bigger front brakes and a sunroof. its done 145xxxkms on the clock and im the 2nd owner of this car since its import. i've taken the wing off the boot but its sitting in the garage so its yours if you want it. has S15 wheels and i think thats about covers it. Just looking for an R32 5 speed manual gearbox thats in working condition.. my one in the car is busted atm and need to replace it. would anyone know if r33s 5speed will fit? Also how much should i be looking around $$ for a gearbox.... oh yeh preferably in sydney

for anyone with a R32 gtst that comes across this problem with their car, i managed to get a brand new unit master cylinder for $65! i'll install it today and see how it goes bought the master cylinder from Western Brake and Clutch in St Marys in sydney update: its in the car now and has fixed the problem, goes in and out very nicely

thanks for the responses guys, i found out what the problem was .. the master was pretty much f*cked as it had dirt in there..not sure how it got in there but it will be fixed and the machine will be back on the road!

Na, i had my dads help, he loosened the nipple while i pushed the clutch down.. im now thinking master/slave cylinder is gone..

Guys my clutch has been playing up lately, when you press the cluth you cant feel the tension until u push it like 2-3cms then you feel the tension of the clutch.... i checked the hydraulic fluids and they appear to be topped up as normal. Thought i'd try bleeding the clutch by loosening the nipple down near where the gearbox is and i didnt get any air come out, just some fluid but in doing this my cluth pedal is pretty much sitting on the floor now and wont come back up lol yeah stupidity on my behalf... weird tho the hydraulic fluid levels show there still full...i thought it would have gone down abit seeing as i let some fluid leak from the nipple.. im thinking maybe the hydraulic pump is f**ked up? has this happened to anyone else?

And just to add another thing that really gets to us rotor folks... Rotaries are just as reliable as skylines, they just need more looking after when it comes to maintenance but apart from that there sweet. Theres none of this..."drive it 3 times broooo then the motor needs a rebuild"... what the hell is that nonsense. If its properly set up and tuned then you wont have any problems. drive the rotary all the time to red line and ofcourse it will need a rebuild. drive any car all the time to redline and that too will need a rebuild or new motor! -Barny

haha this is funny let me start you off buy saying go the for rotaryyyyyyyyyyyy!! you are exactly in the same shoes i was in few months back...but not because my skyline is slow but i just wanted a rx3 sedan resolution: I kept my R32 skyline and bought a mazda rx808 sedan (rx3 copy) im still in the process of building and finishing the rx. mate you cant go past a rotary...its in its own league when your driving it on the road. ps gives girls orgasms by just sitting in the passenger seat and having the machine idle BRAP BRAP BRAP BRAP -Barny
