  1. if you decide not to do the seals then they start leaking, you: 1 - have to pay the labour cost he quoted + more as he'll need to take everything off again. 2 - risk getting oil from the leak onto your timing belt, which means you'll need to replace that too. $220 now COULD save you hundreds more later on.
  2. pics to jtawadrous at optusnet.com.au thanks
  3. goodluck with the sale mate. its still a good price for the stocky bar.
  4. thats not a type m front bar. its just the stocky s1.
  5. yeah, my bad. it was a v8. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=35764

  9. oh yeah! he is too, but i think hes working overseas, im not too sure. i havent heard from the farker in yonks.
  10. i put my www.skylinesaustralia.com sticker on the back under my windscreen wiper but the www. and the .com didnt stick. looks purrdy
  11. yeah mate, ive got a good gyprocker, but my carpenter doesnt do renovations. i'll grab you my gyprocker's number tonight and let him know you're calling.
  12. call a carpenter and a gyprocker. a builder will charge you for him to bring these people in, +10-15% of the jobs value as his fee. my specialty is construction, not renovation. so you can ring up one who specialises in renovations if you REALLY want to use a builder.
  13. im a builder... but i dont think you need a builder for that type of thing. be specific, what kind of partitions? what kind of doors? are the openings already there or are they a part of the partitions?
  14. im in too.. only if i can do burnouts on the ferry?
  15. or go to a place that sell wheels/tyres and buy one for a couple of bux. they just gave me one for free when i didnt have one when getting new tyres. they cost them sfa as they buy them in bulk.
  16. $15 posted to syd for the sunvisors?
  17. im asking for the actual pressures.
  18. id be in if it wasnt on my christmas eve.
  19. turbo oil seal could be at early stages, you might be using a thinner oil, you might even be mistaken that the car even has low oil pressure. where does it sit on idle, cruising and high rpm?
  20. im a bit confused here.. did it start acting like this as soon as the pfc was installed or after a while?
  21. more oil would be found on outlet side of the intercooler.
  22. you're a pussy
  23. on idle, 2bar of oil pressure is fine. 4bar when cruising is normal. 6bar + on high rpm is normal.
  24. firstly i'd get that seepage out of the rocker covers fixed. and its more than likely to be your turbo rather than your oil pump. a blown oil seal in your turbo will cause the lower oil pressure. check for oil in your intercooler piping at the lowest point then report back.
  25. well ive gone without aircon for a while cause my condensor has had it, one of the tubes have split. this is all well and good because i dont really care for aircon and was thinking about chucking out the compressor all together but i might keep it if i can make it smaller. what i was thinking was to grind out half of the core and get it aluminium welded. what effect would it have on the system?
