check your tyre placard. it'll tell you the car's allowable rim sizes. on the r33's it says that 18's are ok with a certain width tyre. have a look at yours and it'll tell you. its usually on the inside of your door. just a word of warning, when i had my 19s it cos me $290 EACH tyre for brand new ones. my mate owns a tyre place and he kept every 2nd hand 19" tyre he got in just for me which cost around $80 a pair. these prices are all mates rates too.

its been done on an rb20 by someone on this forum. why not try a supercharger set up? if i had the money i would definatley consider sticking a 14psi blower onto mine.

someone in syd lost it and died in his skyline while driving fast with a space saver on after it blew. he was using it for a few weeks though.

- tighten both bolts to 14-16Nm first, - then tighten an extra 60-65 degrees (use a dial gauge)

if you search you might get a thread from 200yrs ago saying that X tuner is good when latley he's been blowing motors (for example), what if someone has found someone new? i think its ok if a thread comes up every now and then unless we make a sticky about tuners.

my sister eats junk when she finds shes not losing weight as much as she was. apparently it gives your metabolism a buzz or something and gets it working a bit faster, im not sure of the details... im a crappy listener.

the copper that pulled me over when i was running my car in was a chik. she had some massive nuts on her too. she shut up when i said "you wanna EPA me go for it, but i cant rev my car over 3000rpm. if i blow my motor you're paying for it". i didnt get epa'd.

does the engine light come on? it could be a faulty oil pressure switch, but if your engine light comes on then its not a faulty switch. best to get a mechanic to check it out with a seperate pressure tester.

they're as good as any other one there is out there. i'd definatley recommend getting an air pickup though. im thinking of getting one myself.

the front bar was on. im stull not too sure as they've ticked the "exhaust noise/emissions square". what sucks is i cant drive it as theyve given me a red sticker! bastards.

alot of cars have the carbon thingo's. alot of cars have them in their distributors. a method to fix coil packs with the carbon inside them was to buy a v8 distributor pack and swap over the carbon sticks. alot of people still do it. you can use either, its all about transferring the spark.

good to know! thanks for that. they got me literally 30secs away from my house.. they were following me for a bit. stupid undercovers dont think i can pick them out haha yeah but i like my colour my aim is to get my car streetable anyway, i just need tyres which will be sorted anyway, my exhaust which i wanted to quieten, my sideskirts make the car low so i could just take them off.... im not sure about wether or not i can use a heat sheild for the pod or do i have to use a standard airbox?

yeah i got screwed. ive got to get a blue slip for this one. the front and back are fine.. its just the sides, they sit around 60mm off the ground. i dont have the chromies anymore, its sitting on stockies.

well i got done for my: exhaust - i wanted to get a new quieter tip anyway pod - will getting a pod enclosure pass me? tyres - sorted ground clearance - just my sideskirts are low, i could just take them off and i got this other one that says "engine modifications to comply with standards". i dont have any engine modifications other than the ones he mentioned.. and even if i did, can he defect me on something he cant see himself? EDIT: so far ive sorted: - ride height - airbox NEEDED: - standard muffler
