  1. it is possible, but at the 125psi level you'd probably start to get figures that arent so close together, let alone exactly the same.
  2. ive sold the rims, ive got stockies on now. but the ride is still shit. ive got blown shocks and they keep bottoming out.
  3. 125psi is pretty low. ive rebuilt my motor with standard internals and im getting 125psi BEFORE the run in. go get another comp test done. the figures seem TOO close together. if they were that low i would think there would be small variances of 3-5psi between them at least. thats my opinion rather than expert advice so just get another one done somewhere else.
  4. my old man has houses selling in padstow. its a block of 7 units, 1 is already sold, and they are willing to go free-agent im not sure of the prices.. but you may be able to get one for that price. its around 20-30mins from the city using the m5.
  5. home jobs ftw!
  6. problem is officially fixed, took it out last night without a hitch. the rest of the lifters will have to wait as i dont really see the point in fixing something that aint broken.
  7. i forgot to add that my guards are rolled but it cleared them fine even without the guard rolling.
  8. no worries.. i was just nit picking.. i tend to do that sometimes
  9. my 19x10 fix without any camber kit or anything.. heres a pic of it the moment i got them on my car... it looked like a 4wd but they didnt rub which is the important part. if you dont want to fork out money on camber kits or whatever, just lower the car according to how much space you've got.
  10. you'd get more gains doing this all to an rb30. add - n1 or similar oil pump. - cams - check the head for any damage (cracks, lifters, valves, springs) theres a shitload of things you can do.. just go to your workshop and say.... "i'll have 1 of each (2 where applicable)" give us a price range and we'd be able to tell you more accuratly.
  11. dont muck around with trying to fix them. if you inspect them all carefully you'll be able to see which ones are stuffed, if not dont worry about replacing them. i'll post pics tomorrow on what the stuffed one on mine looked like.
  12. i would if i could be bothered. i might replace the rest of them if theyre only 45 each.
  13. it might've expanded the metal a bit more. you could've weakened the metal by drilling it out.
  14. $75 each.. they retail at $118.
  15. the new ones felt pretty solid. they didnt go in and out at all, the others did slightly.
  16. fixed. i bought some new lifters for #1 exhaust side. the car runs just like it used to!
  17. is it the valve body? i was going to take it out and give it a clean when i had a chance. i'll let you all know how that goes.
  18. heres the thread i started when i had the prob.. ive got pics in there: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...topic=77821&hl=
  19. you probably should've tried using a heat gun or something.
  20. it could be your level sender. so a search. its just a matter of opening up your fuel tank from the access in the boot and then mounting the level sender back on its mount. its a common problem with 33's. but normally you'd get 300-350k's from a 33 with basic mods as they tend to run rich anyway.
  21. if it hasnt had a water pump change then do it anyway, i'd get your thermostat changed too.. it should warm up gradually. check for leaks on the bottom of the water pump, its where they usually leak. if you run your finger under there and find some residue then its time for a pump change.
  22. take it somewhere to re-gas it. it wont need converting.
  23. tried using the v8 battery in your car?
  24. and a leak-down test.
